L 5-0 vs Milton Keynes Dons (A) - League Two - Fri 29th March, 3pm

I’m not doing either I’m stating what I saw.

I don’t think k he’s been shite for a while and I don’t think he was Messi prior to that which is why I don’t see him as massively inconsistent like some (I’ve said this before). But he is our best player and I don’t think we don’t use him like we should.

Mate come on, hes ok technically but does he drag the team through no he doesn’t.

When the chips are down he’s no where to be seen,

And league two is littered with players so good they drag average teams to the top :rofl::rofl:

Not sure what your point is , my point is that when the going gets tough… he hides :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::crazy_face:

That’s something I do t think even his harshest critics think he does.

He does find it hard to affect the game when the team are off it though and he does struggle when we have 25% possession that’s true :man_facepalming:

So he wasn’t off it ? Always the team that makes him poor?

Nothing to do with him

In @CompletelySaddled 's defence - I don’t think the make up of the team is made to play anywhere near to Hutchinson’s strengths.

Could you imagine Hutch in their side? With the time on the ball in areas that are more progressive? He would be a revelation in a side like them - same with a Stockport, Mansfield, Wrexham, Crewe or even Barrow.

I think it’s a minor miracle he has been able to have the returns this season, given our passive and direct style of football (over the majority of games).

I think Hutch plays better when we had someone like Earring next to him, who he trusts will get the ball into him.

I understand the point that he sometimes goes missing - but I think when we have the whole of our attack pattern of plan determined by if we can get the ball to him or not… then I can see why that is the case.

If I was Hutch, I’d be off. He will play better in a better side.

For anyone who wants a bit of torture

Odd thing to say, is this something you think about often? Whatever gets you off I suppose.

Faal not being able to do his job because of his religion is concerning
This isn’t the first time sadler said his fasting is effecting his ability to do his job

I said that?

The team were off it. All of them. How hard do you think it is for your creative player to make a difference when everyone’s off it and you have 25% of the ball….when the balls in play for 60 mins….do the math Einstein…

Credit to everyone who actually listens to Matt Sadler - I stopped in October when he confirmed he can’t conduct an honest appraisal of the team, how it played and what he got right and wrong. He needs some media training - from posters comments nothing has changed.

This is what frustrates me. If Sadler knows that he isn’t able to be at his best because of the fasting due to religion (which is his right to have whatever religious belief he wants) then he shouldn’t be starting him and / or using him differently where he can still be effective, e.g. coming off the bench as an impact sub for last 20-30 mins.
