L 5-0 vs Milton Keynes Dons (A) - League Two - Fri 29th March, 3pm

Cheers for that mate, means a lot to me. They are great lads.

We haven’t been able to do as many away games this season, simply because of the cost, so have just picked a few here and there. I already had this one pencilled in before we went on our good run.

Our last two away games are Southampton and MK Dons, a combined score of 9-0. And the lads were asking me about Tranmere on the way back. Can’t fault them, I am fairly sure they will be lifelong fans now.

This is the style of play we were aiming for according to Ben, although he does say action on the pitch will speak louder about it

I don’t see anything about strikers that can’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo.

Let’s face it, we play nothing like that, and that is fine. No one cares if you win by scoring off set pieces, all about the winning to get out of this division.

I haven’t seen it over the last few weeks, and imagine arguing against giving your best finisher minutes on the pitch.

We’re not a prime Barcelona, it’s league 2!

Pipe down Mourinho.

They sang their hearts out too mate, we went to both them and the forest green defeat😔
Like most mate weve struggled financially too and season tickets outlay as made us be careful on the away games we’ve been too, we’ve chosen drive to the last couple as it’s about 75 to 80 quid on most coaches when there’s 4 adults so just cheaper to drop 30 quid in fuel and go that way.

You literally have no clue mate :rofl:

If we can get a decent fee for Hutchinson and a couple of decent replacements in. Fine with that

Goes missing in far too many games.

You believe that Mourinho.

No go on mate you go and tell me how you know a player under contract next season has managed to sort a deal at another club in March……

I’ll wait……

You can always tell when we lose as the thread count doubles on that particular ‘match centre’ results thread. When we win, by whatever means, thread counts is sometimes almost half as when we lose

I don’t think that is actually true if you take a look at the numbers. Easy to do if you just go to the match center it shows the replies.

It was no surprise to me that the Accrington Stanley win was one of the highest amount of replies.

This one is a high one, but in general, it appears that there are a higher number of replies when we win rather than we lose.

More to moan about

That worked well for Keates.

That was a Walsall team that didn’t want the ball at all and it quickly declined down the league.

And we saw the limitations of Flynn’s style.

Possession isn’t everything. However generally you create more chances and can take the sting out of games that way rather than constantly low blocking and hanging on for dear life which won’t work every week.

Only way it usually works with that style if you’re incredibly effective with set pieces which this team actually has in 2024.

Just needs better quality in midfield. It worked under DS because of Sawyers and also Flo a year or two before.

As seen yesterday Hutch is the only one who’d get close to making the Franchise team and they might only be 4th best at this level this season.

To be fair to Walsall Casual we’re did he state a “player under contract next season has managed to sort a deal at another club in March……”

No he didnt but mine was in response to his suggestion that he’d been told that Hutchinson wouldn’t be here next season and Westie Jacks assertion that his agent was already seeing to it!

In my opinion that’s nonsense at this stage (other than assumption) and if it’s not I’d like to know what they know……which again imo is precisely nothing.

Come on m8. If you think Dean Keates sides were really about trying to win the ball in dangerous areas as alluded to in the article rather than just being a bit clueless then I can’t really take you seriously

That’s fine as you say “ No he didnt” so he can’t really let you know .so I wouldn’t wait .

He can share with us what he was supposedly told……or what Westie Jack was…but he won’t because as I say, it’s nonsense at this stage.

He hasn’t yet but it is highly likely there will be movements in the summer.
