There are always exceptions that prove the rule though Funk.
Crawley are that example this season. I imagine supporters of Bradford, Swindon and one or two others will be saying the same
Scoring goals hasn’t been a major problem this seaso. Ultimately our defensive performances, especially over the past few weeks is what has done us.
It was a question to FHTF. Nothing to do with you and your childish posts.
Ahhh feeling a bit silly this morning are we?

No. Why would I be? I’m not the one posting reactionary tosh on a message board flipping my position depending on the result unlike you

You’re the one looking a little silly with your obsessive and emotional posts.

Thought you said you could see a project after we won 5 on the bounce a few weeks back.
Was that a lie?

In terms of loans, we are in a great position with our links with WBA, BCFC and especially AVFC.
With the Viveash/Robins links, CCFC is another option.
I’m sure we were after a young Coventry winger in January, who was just returning from injury. In the end, it fell through, and he became a major impact sub, including that Man U semi final. Pretty sure we were in for Tavares.
They also have Matty Godden as very much a fringe player, and at 32, he might fancy a leading role for a team next year…

Did I?
I haven’t changed my stance all season
Not good enough ultimately, and extremely average.
Are you going to admit you got it very wrong by proclaiming we were very a good side and would get in the play offs?
I didn’t post last night, a bit like our team for large parts of the game, I couldn’t be arsed. What a long day, left the house at 6.45am, and it was after 10pm by the time we got home. That is a long day for my two kids, and as I watched them at 5-1 down still singing the songs, that made me proud but I’m not sure the team deserved it. We haven’t been to as many away games this season but my oldest lad said to me that his last 3 away games had a combined score of 14-1 (not to us obviously) Of course it is a bit by chance the games we chose, but all the same, that is taters.
The first goal yesterday, the bloke crossing it could literally take his time and put it anywhere he wanted, it was like a free kick, we even gave him ten yards (at least) so many goals where we don’t stop crosses, 3 center backs that constantly get beat. I’d reconsider the 3-5-2 or whatever it is, we aren’t good at it. 4 big games with a good chance of getting in the play offs 3 at home and Wimbledon away. We conceded 13 goals in those games. Terrible really and a really big missed opportunity with such a low points total needed for the playoffs this season, it is rarely that low. That just wasn’t acceptable yesterday, I am still pissed off about it.
I had to turn Sadler off, he was asked to assess yesterday’s game and started blabbering on about the season as a whole, he may have gone on to talk more about the game but I had already clicked it by then. The season as a whole was alright but nothing like what he and others are trying to claim it is/was. I don’t know what business we will do in the summer but I hope it is better than I am expecting, because next season probably won’t be the progression that is expected.
Totally agree about the Stewards yesterday, jokers, worst I can remember since Forest, Nott’s County and Bolton.
Walsall FC.

Enough about your posts though.
Sick to to death of your asinine comments on the match thread. We may have been ‘average’ overall, but that actually masks some huge swings results and performances of the season. Probably what I’d expect from a season in transition which this season always was.

That’s a big word.
Seems to me that you’re a little embarrassed and annoyed with how the season has ended - and trying to deflect on to others.
Try getting up speed with the modern game, understand it a little more, and come back stronger next season

My prediction (as others also said) was pretty much bang on. Listen more in future young padawan 🫶🏻
I predicted 10th at the start and said this was always a season of building.
I seem to recall you wanting Sadler out when were 19th. You were wrong then and and you are wrong now.
I don’t think I am at all.
Jury is very much still out.
Its a tough one to call. Flynn was employed by and operating under a hybrid of LP, the Bonser babes and Trivela. Had he had the full Trivela backing and DJ at his disposal for his full season, he would have had us in the Play Offs.
Has Sadler done better than I expected. Yes. Has he shown enough to have me thinking we will be challenging next year?! Meehhh, he deserves a crack at it for sure, but I am far from convinced.
With Trivela I beleive we are a force in next seasons league and we should expect nothing less than top 7

You also said we’d lose 4 on the bounce after we beat Mansfield. We in fact won all 4.
You just post reactionary tosh, completely embarrassing for someone who is clearly more intelligent than that.
Seriously , grow up.
You’re making yourself look very childish in the forum.
We can all have opinions, we don’t need them signed off by Rose Tinted @Andy_Petterson in order to post them.

I don’t mind people having opinions, just don’t flip from one week to the next depending on the result.
Don’t take the easy option of knocking Walsall after a bad result because they can and do happen when something is trying to be built.
Seriously, grow up.
I haven’t changed my opinion all season. You must be having a moment.
We’ve been building for a decade!!
Another crap season and summer rebuild required, some progression that.

Something that gets missed when people bleat about it being a strong division this year because of moneybags Wrexham and Stockport.
