I do hope I’m wrong Ofcourse I do but unfortunately I’ve been a Walsall fan long enough to know how panic signings in January usually work out after the years of crap we’ve been through it’s hard to not be worried
Underwhelmed but who knows… I just think we need someone to hit the ground running and just not sure these signings give us the best chance of that but let’s see how he gets on, hopefully see him tomorrow.
Feels like Sadler thinks we can’t play our game without a physical presence up front and this is what they have come up with. Not easy to find players in January to be fair.
I’m not sure about coming out of January stronger though. Let’s see if we get a decent midfielder in.
Let’s loan him back to Bromley to gain some experience ffs
You are right to a point but under Pomlett and the later Bonser years this type of signing was our be all and end all that all our hopes were pinned on. This guy is a squad piece to (hopefully) back up a fully firing Jamma for 19 games
Im going to give the lad a chance (like we all should) Plus I think all the hype around Draper coming back meant that if signed anyone else that was not on the same level it would be a tough sell.
However MS and Co have recruited very well, time will tell … he could be the next Rambo !
Maybe this time it’s different, Sadler has proven he is not a complete joke of a manager, I’m skeptical, but I can’t get around the fact he hasn’t signed crap players, not really.
We also have the Byfield, Adomah, Jamma effect which could ‘Bradshaw’ this lad to success.
Joke of a signing… cant even play for the mighty bromley first 11… are we meant to be stregthening cos this feels a massive back step
So we have paid a fee for someone and gave them an 18 month contract to back up Jamma for 19 games.
I hope it works out.
The lad did very well at Maidstone but has struggled at Bromley. Sadler has earned enough trust by signing unknowns "Jellis, Barrett, and Williams for Walsall fans to give the lad a chance before rushing to judgement. Not that they will
He looks a big flipping unit. Im not going to tell him hes shite .
Get behind the lad. He could be our Andy Rammell. And yes, hes ours and not a loan.
Come on big lad. Lets get that promotion
There’s a one year option as well. I think Sadler sees him as more than a stopgap.
That’s the one thing that gives me some hope, but as DanG said above, we really needed players that will hit the ground running.
Sadler’s recruitment has been very good upto now, so I’m not going to start questioning his signings until they give me reason to.
Welcome aboard the promotion bus Levi.
Flush negativity down the toilet.
This could be the boost we need.
Come on you reds.
I agree, and that’s the thing we can’t afford to give. It’s what happened with Jamma, now look at him, he’s up there for POTS.
If we really are a club that’s good at developing talent then this is a chance to prove it.
Not impressed.
Surley we should be signing players if permanent players who can compete in league 1 not cast offs from bromley
Hope he proves me wrong
I really dont know what to make of this one. Not the type of player i thought we would be buying, but he deserves a chance to prove himself. Looking at his career previous to Bromley it doesnt fill me with confidence, and im.amazed.we have paid a fee for him.
This will either be a stroke of genius or we could be watching the next Rory Gaffney
Underwhelmed tbh and his figures don’t impress but the recruitment has been good to date so despite not knowing anything about him or seen him play I find myself trusting the club and backing any player who puts 100% in whilst wearing the shirt.
I suppose what is key and tbh we won’t know until the window closes is what is his role?
One to develop for next season as was JJ last January
Is he Jammas back up
Or is he something different off the bench ie Cleary’s replacement
I don’t know so any help with this please enlighten me
Welcome to WFC Levi.
Hope you fit in quickly and contribute effectively to our promotion charge.
