Levi Amantchi Signs

Exactly what I asked. Seems odd

Bit of a strange one this
Not played much for Bromley this season, but with Cheek in their ranks, don’t think there’s been many opportunities really
And, except for one season, he doesn’t score goals!
But, he’s been training with us, so the coaching staff may have seen something that he’ll bring to the team :man_shrugging:
One thing is certain, we’re not signing another striker, a midfielder maybe, but there’s no more strikers coming in!

Keep going in the alphabet mate.

He’s found it difficult to get in ahead of Michael Cheek who’s Bromley’s best forward by a mile.

Thought he might’ve just been a loan option than 18 months. Gives an indication that Sadler thinks he can be trained up to league one standard which is some call given his goal record throughout his career, Maidstone is the only side he’s ever really scored for.

Not a gamble I thought a team still 9 clear would be making tbh. I’ll be optimistic and say this is the replacement for Cleary and there is still one more forward to come in.

The new Ngoo?! I hope not

Levi’s highlights reel shows he can take a pelanty, so that puts him well ahead of Ngoo.

Still room for another if DJ goes

Hopefully no one will do that! We have to give him a chance, especially as he is our player: he’s one of our own! I hope he rips it up.

Welcome Levi :muscle:

Levi hasn’t scored in the league but he did get one in the league cup.

Fazackerley. I remember being underwhelmed when Trev signed, but he proved to be a big factor.
I trust our management team. They have done us proud so far.

If we Want to do well next year in league one cheek is the standard we should be aiming for not his understudy

I thought it was Michael Ricketts knocking that one in! Just reminded me of him. Doubt he will play for England though.

What do any of us know, I guess? 18 month contract indicates the Club see something here that includes in L1, because I can’t believe they are wilfully self-sabotaging our challenge. And our approach to recruitment in the last 12 months has been pretty good, so I have to dig in and find some faith. A concern is still that we have so few goals in the front line and Ethan and Levi are pretty inexperienced. Mind, I am possibly more concerned about the holes appearing in defence, and the fatigue/odd selections in midfield. Peace and love.

Not one to set the pulse racing but Jesus wept writing him off before he has taken a kick for us :see_no_evil::see_no_evil::see_no_evil: I’d never heard of half the players MS and our recruitment team have signed but their record speaks for itself. Welcome Levi and good luck, you are going to need it with some of our fans

BTW I’m also mindful of Bromley’s style of play and ours and whether Levi works/might work in ours > theirs. NB is whelmed a synonym for overwhelmed? Just checked it’s old English derivation. Interesting etymology.

Nice write up about him.

The more i read about him, the more it feels like a proper Sadler signing.

The system we play requires big, bustly type forwards and he sounds exactly that.

Was abit underwhelmed at first, but more than happy to see what he can do for us.

16 starts from the bench might explain why he hasn’t scored so many

We need a backup for Matt. Draper was obviously 1st choice, but it didn’t happen. Levi has an 18 month contract and the opportunityto learn from Jamma. If it doesn’t work out this season he’ll be off to Drogheda in the summer.

We need a presence up front and if he scores the winner tomorrow, then he’ll be a hero. Welcome Levi.
