I didn’t realise this awful and tragic news about our former Skipper, Tom Bennett’s son. Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but truly awful news and my thoughts are very much with Tom and the family. RIP Luke

I remember the story a few months back, couldn’t recall the name and didn’t realise it was Tom Bennett’s lad.
Awful how life can change in minutes and without any warning.

I’d not heard this. Desperately sad. It is devastating for a family when someone young dies.

Things like this never leave you or even fade away.
They seem like wonderful parents, have a great family and a brilliant attitude.
Only God can give the parents the strength to carry on when their child dies.
A loss like that is about the most painful thing a human being can experience.
My heart goes out to Tom and his family.
