Mairs was very impressive. He could talk all night.
He commented about the Cheltenham home game, saying we made them look like Barcelona.
Clearly comfortable with this sort of thing.

I enjoyed the meeting mainly because what they said was what I think we need. A smaller but better quality squad, better loan players and more possession of the ball . I liked Mairs and hope he can “walk the walk” as well as “talk the talk”. Lee Grant is clearly ambitious and I liked that. Failure at Walsall will not suit him. UTS

It was good to have the event done properly.
Major difference for me was the sound. I ended up sitting behind people who hardly stopped talking to themselves all evening but it made no difference as I could clearly hear what was being said by those asking and those answering questions.

I was impressed with both Mairs and Grant. They know what they want and appear to know how to get it. I got a question in about formation. Which was going to basically be back four but flexible. According to match situations.

Best comment of the evening for me came from Mairs when he said we made Cheltenham look like Barcelona on our way to losing 0 4. He comes across as a tell it like it is type of individual.
