Milton Keynes Dons (H) January 18th, 3pm

That was so funny. Just having a meltdown and couldnt believe his team being dismantled in the second half.

Oh the emotions of being a supporter is crazy.

I was convinced he’d blown for free kick and stood in the place where it would have been taken, even whilst we were celebrating and I was waiting for him to call us back.

I do like these vlogs cause they give another insight in a way you wouldn’t get from traditional media in the lower leagues so it feels bad to make fun but it did throw me this bit. I now get this comment lol.

Just been chatting with Everton Andy, he was simply blown away by how good we were. The hunger, the drive, how relentless we are. He thought MK Dons were a decent outfit but described us as a different class and said not only are we way too good for this league and n that sort of showing we will be a decent L1 outfit too. Lovely to hear a supporter of a top football club so gushing with praise for us. Was impressed with the support too despite the disappointing audience overall.

If you think the audience was disappointing you should have seen the carnage in the undercroft, there was bodies everywhere and it was 2: 55pm , bloody mayhem.

I know it was a cold damp day yesterday I for one couldn’t stop the two candles running from my nose but it was such a disappointing turn out , several national league matches had bigger turn outs than us

Only Southend and York i think

Well it’s good to know that a fictional character thinks we’re a good team…:joy:

Quote from Don’s forum
“ take walsall they work hard and play as a team and they nowhat they are doing if crowley and kelly had been playing for them yesterday they would have had a field day. and there lies the problem.”
Hmm. Yep we really struggled :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Really happy about yesterday’s result.

It’s been a long time since we completely dominated against Franchise.

I remember us beating them 4-2 at their place on Boxing Day. Checked earlier and that was just over 12 years ago. :flushed:

It was during our best run against them where we beat them 3 times in 7 months.

We were excellent in a 3-0 win away in Dec 2014 when Dele Alli was playing for them

“However, if the offence was denying the opposing team an obvious goal-scoring opportunity, the player is cautioned for unsporting behaviour; if the offence was interfering with or stopping a promising attack, the player is not cautioned.”
Well, not an obvious goal scoring opportunity was it, rather stopping a promising attack? A good decision from the referee to allow the advantage from which we scored.

Everton Andy is very real, he’s a regular in the Pool Hayes pub for anyone who knows Willenhall.

Like a few others, I thought he’d blown the whistle and was going to pull it back.

Honestly do think this is a big part of it. We are sort of figuring them out in the first half and there is no doubt we save energy for the second half. The press always goes up when that second half whistle blows.

I have to say though most teams I’ve seen this season are quite literally playing the same way. Some slightly better on the ball than others perhaps but all knocking it about tje back four until someone goes long :joy: Or maybe we just make everyone look the same ordinary… Who cares long may we enjoy it. There is a tingle in my pants when we are just pinning the opposition in their own half. Not seen a Walsall team do this so effectively in my entire lifetime.

I think we would struggle more if teams sat in against us, they don’t seem to have figured that out much though either :grinning:

Newport tried this the most of the teams on our recent run and dare I say came closest to stop us winning. Our first goal was a slightly fortunate deflection.
