I have a lucky pair of socks. When I say socks, they are so threadbare now they are almost like tights. I kept wearing them at the start of the season as I missed the Tranmere and MK Dons games, so hadnât seen us lose.
We then got totally spannered by Fleetwood, so I thought the socks were going in the bin. I then realised I hadnât worn the right set of pants to go with them.
So now I am having to get the exact pair of pants, and my lucky socks, which I have to wear another pair of socks underneath them to make them wearable.
All nonsense of course, but I do it anyway.

Same (red) lucky socks. Mine not yours! I didnât wear them on Tues, mind. I try use the same place in the bogs too, as that has usually brought a win. Mind you I have to queue sometimes as I usually end up behind a Guinness drinker from the Locker.

As regards Crowley, I was talking to a County fan yesterday at Barbados airport- as one does. He said Crowleyâs first half performance at County against us was typical of his season. Lots of possession in midfield, plenty of dribbling and showboating but little end product. Rumour is the fee was about ÂŁ200k but this guy was pleased to see the back of him and thought it was a good bit of business.
We shackled him well second half at County and Iâm sure we can do the same today. UTS!

Didnât realise our record against these is so poor reading these stats on yellow ribbon podcast Iâd take a draw
Walsall havenât scored a goal against MK Dons since getting relegated to L2

In fact, in our history we have never beaten them in L2 (3D, 2L) only scoring once in that time

We did have a decent record at their place for a while.

But they are glory hunters , if they wanted to truly support there local team they would be cheering Newport Pagnel Town FC or better still Stony Stratford Town FC
MK City FC folded the year Wimbledon were âmovedâ so two clubs folded as a result of sacrifice of Wimbledon FC . If the good people of MK had been that desperate to support there local club they had plenty of options in 2002 / 2003.
Anyway on to today , my gut is telling this will be a toughie but weâve got this , the Mean Machine will continue itâs charge to t00 points

Not the end of the world if we donât win, or even lose. Weâve got ourselves in a great position so those who are negative about us not having replaced Lowe yet just need to be patient. Itâs not time to panic!
Weâll sign someone who can help to get us over the line before 3rd Feb, even if itâs not a direct replacement for Nathan Lowe. Weâre a massively improved TEAM this season, and havenât at any point being reliant on one player⌠as good as he was for us.

A great point. Not forgetting that there remains a table topping defence and midfield supporting whoever is selected. With all of those chances being created, lately, with or without Nathan, I feel that someone will get a good hiding from us before too long.

Set for a record breaking winning run today 2-1 as we continue to coast to securing promotion in March.

Just a query about McEntee is he fit to play? I wasnât sure if heâd picked up an injury when he was subbed on Tuesday. Seemed to be feeling his left thigh/ butt cheek as he walked off.
