Pretty sure some of our cup runs in the 90s paid for the Bonser Suite…our most important signing of the last 30 years.

The last time I can remember a tangible link between cup income and team strengthening was when Lee took over and in his first game beat top flight opposition gaining us a televised tie in round four, from memory we then signed the trio on loan from Blues plus Gus Uhlenbeek on loan from Sheff U and stayed up. We might need something similar this season if we can hang in there until January!
