Few of us going from tamebridge around 9 ish it goes via Rugeley. Only 30 mins from Rugeley to Crewe
Travelling up from the south to Brum, then Brum direct to Crewe (via WV, Penkridge, Stafford)
4 of us going from Rugely TV. Not seen an away win since Notts don’t let us down Walsall
I’ll be jumping on at Lichfield probably on the train about 20 past 10 or thereabouts be there before 11
Saddlers Army on the march!
If I go, I’ll get the train from RTV but will leave early to get a few jars in before the game.
Anyone on best away boozer?
I can’t think of the name of it now but there is a great one just up the road from the ground, if it is open.
I’ll have the boys with me so unlikely they will let me in with them.
Good chippys in Crewe as well
That was the best part of the disaster day in the playoffs when we lost 5-1.
Eating nice chips in the rain.
There’ll be a few plasterers there Saturday as well I bet
Went to a The Cheshire Inn last season just a few hundred hards up the main road turning left out of train station. Totally caters for away fans only… including our very Police cameraman across the road all day … just 5 mins walk to ground from boozer need to get there early as it’s always 6 deep at the bar but a good atmosphere
You need to continue posting mate just for posts like that .
Just thinking about the horrors that day. On reflection that was a worse feeling than this catastrophic implosion. Moreso because it was such a shock. This has been more like a growing boil on your bum getting more painful until it bursts, offering some relief at least.
It was a sickening feeling.
When is the relief coming?
I cant help with that one im afraid. My coping mechanism is to throw myself into work and pretend that it hasnt happened. The more distractions i can find, the less time i have to stew over this gut wrenching episode.
It’s more like an anal fistula.
Few more tickets made available for those that can brave it!
Probably returns.
