Morecambe (A) February 22nd, 12.30pm

I like this interviewer, he asks a couple of pushy questions

I would hope for a 3-0 win. They play with three up front so hopefully that leaves plenty of gaps to exploit

I love Spanish onions and find you can get them from the market stalls but not ordinary supermarkets.

Yes, it seems they are the only chance you can stumble across them, but even when I do, they’re not as potent as they used to be.

Just be aware the Barrow match could be moved to Thursday 10th April.
We are looking to do the same, but will wait until four weeks before booking anything, once it has been confirmed.

That’s fine for once, the plan is currently to go up on Thursday night when I’ve finished work. I’d just book the afternoon off if that happens

Expecting an unchanged staring eleven if Williams is fit, and a similar result with a 1-2 away win.
Also McEntee to come on in the 2nd half in midfield, providing there are no defenders injured.

No excuses. We should win this.

Can’t be dropping points against relegation fodder, if we are serious promotion candidates. We must win, regardless of how we do it.

Yes, I agree. We only beat them 1-0 at home and it was far from easy. I’m expecting a hard game. A scrappy 1-0 win will do.

Strange how some see this as a match we should comfortably win. If i recall the opening game correctly, both teams looked poor and we just scraped a victory.

Was it last season we got spanked by Sutton? At my age years tend to merge together

These will be battling for their lives so do not see this as a romp in the sand.

No football game is an absolute banker, there are strange results all the time.

This notion they will be fighting for their lives though, we should be fighting harder then. They are at the bottom for a reason.

Games like Sutton last season should help us not make the same mistakes again.

If we match the effort, then there’s no contest…surely :flushed:

Watched these the other night they are dreadful from what I saw we should be taking the 3 points tomorrow.

You telling

me to get on me bike

Defo need to get back onion the right track!

You can still get them in some supermarkets, but they are usually poxy ones in packs of 3 (think they label them as ā€œmildā€).

Don’t know if it’s all Indian supermarkets (although I know they prefer them in curries etc) but the one in Darlaston has proper big Spanish for under Ā£1.

But the best place I know of at tbe moment is the Chinese supermarket near me in Wellington that is selling massive ones for 45p. A couple of weeks ago I took half of one (the other half was more than enough for what I wanted it for) to my mom & dad who love them sliced and pickled with cucumber - they said it was great but was so big they still haven’t finished it!
