Wheatley didn’t look like he was enjoying it when he trudged off after being subbed after 57 minutes against Salford at home.Personally I’m not sure he’s ready for league two bruising defenders or even the way we play?. I’m not saying he isn’t a talented lad it’s just my opinion of where he is currently in his fledgling career.

Let’s not gift em one in the 90 plus minutes, looks a defensive set up, we are top not relegation contenders, show some bottle and go for their throat ffs.
We stayed in Carnforth last night at the Royal Station Hotel. Had a lovely breakfast there.

As usual, the game starts after half-time, but maybe this time it will be different.
That’s where we are! 
Ate in the bar on Thursday night (good tasty food, decent portions at a very reasonable price) but been out for breakfast so far - Tebay services yesterday (on way to Keswick) and the Brief Encounter this morning (literally across the road from the hotel).

We look better than them but a couple of concerns:-
Connor still looks leggy
Jellis still isn’t practicing corners is he, or if he is, he’s still not very good at them.
Liam Gordon doing Liam Gordon things. Made a run that few if any in the league could make. Beautiful. But when it came to the last bit, an air shot from ten yards. Like so many at the level he’s so close to being really good.

Looking at their results, almost all of their points are from teams in the bottom 8 (with the exception of Fleetwood).
We should be beating these.
