In order to avoid the thread floundering and becoming marlinised by assorted clowns and sprats pomfretting about eely ruffe puns and other pollocks, I have a few rays of light in this important gurnard. These include to keep-netting the more obscure references and not to be lured by casting about for reely coarse lines.
