Adomah keeps drifting to wide which so fine as a winger but as a striker it’s leaving Levi very isolated especially from crosses

Thing is, he’ll hook Chang for Hall instead of Jellis. He’ll cite Chang’s lack of minutes. Despite Sadler being 100% responsible for the lack of minutes.
Anyway, we’ve now got half a functioning midfield which is a half more than most weeks.

There is no guarantee in football that if you pick the best available players in the right positions that your side will always win, there are too many random factors in any one match.
By the same token, you can send out lesser players in their wrong positions and sometimes your side will win.
But to do well over the long run, having the right players with the correct tactics will have its reward.
Having my prostate checked at 21 was better entertainment than that first half.

None of us know the truth, but the fact that last season MS constantly preferred DJT, one of the worst players to have played 10 games or more for the Saddlers, over DJ leads me to infer that this was a decision made on personal rather than professional lines.

When adomah drifts out wide Jellis makes a run through the middle. But either the ball or the control hasn’t been there to make the most of it.

In my opinion, Trivela signed DJ to appease an unhappy fanbase and try to flog some overpriced T-shirts. Not sure Sadler ever wanted him, but he should have tried to make better use of his talents regardless.
Yep, as soon as I mentioned Hall I thought we need both Chang and Hall on but he will 100% take him for Hall.
When we were doing well , first halves like this were common- doing OK,matching the opposition without looking all that dangerous. Then we turned it on ,especially in the first fifteen after the break. Let’s hope we’ve reverted.
I just hope we don’t go back to hoofball if Matt comes on and if Chang goes off.

To be fair to Sadler he might not have a choice on subbing Chang if blues are making demands about his and halls minutes.

There would be no issue with DJ not playing if any of the alternatives since Lowe left had been anywhere near decent.
None of them have.
DJ offers a goal threat and should definitely have been used more and would have by any other manager at this level.
Instead he’s at the zoo. Hopefully the others can do the job.

Our lack of urgency to get the win we desperately need, is a real worry.
Two teams who have amassed 6 points between them out of a possible 36 from the last 6 games.
Neither would beat a top ten national league team.
Not playing Chang and Assimwe and still playing Jellis over the last few weeks says it all about 12 point Sadler.
