Next manager: Who’d you have back, from this list?

Not a clue maybe Katie price, didnt she manage a charity match once. Couldn’t be any worse than list of mangers given on your list.

None of those are managers :eyes::wink:

Which is why there is something wrong here that all the managers we appoint are useless but are okay elsewhere -budget?

My point entirely, the £8k a week we spend on rent make all the difference

I’m used to being in the minority in so many things, I often have opinions that are a bit left field, and I don’t mind as a rule. But I’m devastated to be so out of tune with mainstream thought on which bollock I want chopping off. :astonished:

We’re the left side
We’re the left side
We’re the left side over here

I just couldn’t sum up the courage to vote :man_facepalming:

Big fat Jan.

I think he actually sold up that boozer he ran in Tamworth so he’s ready for the Old Trafford re-match…

Keates all day long.

I actually think it depends on the metric.

Merson failed, Broadhurst was just a random appointment that Bonser luckily realised could do real long term damage and quickly got rid of him, imo Dutton is similar ilk so we’ll see what happens there.

Mullen and Whitney imo didn’t fail. Both had the club just under middle table league one when both went and it was more combination of who they followed and fans being underwhelmed by their appointments which resulted in negative home atmospheres that lead to their sackings.

Similar for O’Driscoll but given his past achievements and general reputation in the game that was massive disappointment really.

Hutchings, simplly not a number one at any level but was o.k for first 18 months before disaster of August 2010-Jan 2011.

Clarke we could add another 200 pages like the other threads, probably in S O’D category of appointment that should’ve worked but didn’t.

Keates we all wanted to do well but simply too early for him to manage at league 1 level as how quickly it all fell apart after the decent start showed. Perhaps he should’ve got until the end of that season but could understand why he was ditched when he was.

None of those managers above had anything close to a top 6 budget in the leagues so really it’s a case of trying to finish top half and it dosen’t require a huge amount to go wrong e.g. key signings not working out (Clarke) or loads of injuries and then you start sliding down the league.

I’m just coming to terms with the idea that some posters have more than one. Apart from Chunkster, who has three and does turns at local clubs as ‘The Pawnbroker’ (or on Ladies Nights as ‘The Pornbroker’).

Actually dread them coming up, Keates is still one of my heroes.

And they will have new money next season…

It’s like deciding which is your favourite turd.

I saw this article about Keates yesterday. Seems Wrexham fans aren’t so happy with him. Not nice at all though, no one should have to put up with this kind of abuse.

That is terrible … The thing is though it really does only take one or two to put stuff like that on social media and the whole fan base can be tainted with the same brush which is unfair.

Vile stuff, they don’t deserve him!
It is a reminder though that our fans probably aren’t the worst in the world as some like to make out and that every club has its share.

Not read the article so what’s he done to upset them? Don’t tell me they think they should be winning the league by 30 points with their shiny new takeover?

They’re in with a shout although fancy Stockport to win the play offs there given they’ve got Paddy Madden upfront now, would be good to have that away trip back next season.

Nasty Wrexham fans, how awful. Just as well Walsall fans have never done anything similar.
