Don’t know if you watched the video but he’s describing an interview process similar to ours.
Says they have a list of potential candidates and he’s expecting to interview about 6 with possibly a 2nd round of interviews before making a final decision. Even says the the process and it’s length May put off some candidates but they want to make sure they get the right person.
Also mentions how they want them to fit into a system where they’re basically the head coach with players selected for them to train although they are open to having extra players added by the coach.
I’m worried. I actually agree with you.
I agree they all have an element of risk but Sadler knows the club the level and the players so I’d edge on him being a little more assured.
Ye I think that’s about it, personally non take my fancy.
But saying that there seems to be an argument against every candidate, I wouldn’t fancy having the say on this one.
I would put the player turnover into context, with the list of out of contract players, it does look like between 8 to 12 will be required this summer dependant upon the retained list. Isn’t Matt our only contracted striker?
Really hope there is an appointment by Wednesday.
The players already contracted for next season are:
Evans
Gordon
Daniels
Menayase,
McEntee,
Riley,
Comley,
Hutchinson,
Maher,
Knowles
Matt
In theory that is a starting eleven. How many of them will be wanted by the new manager remains to be seen
Don’t forget Menayese is injured as is Earing. Of the out of contract there is only Monthe, potentially Kinsella, Earing, Wilikinson and White that look worth retaining.
Menayase was told he would be out for a minimum of six months in January, so he could be available before too long, probably just for another loan I suppose.
I see from above, Collins is the new favourite in the betting. Lets face it, the market’s so small if I stuck £100 on myself as next manager I probably become the new favourite in the betting.
Is your knowledge of North American football up there with your knowledge of US Geography.
who the hell would want to keep white.
Can I claim it was a typo?
But you get my drift though year? I mean Florida / Tampa bay or Walsall with games in Carlisle and Barrow?
Can’t wait to release all the out of contract players and start again…. Again
But it needs to be done we have some tosh. We’re lucky our contracted players are an ok base for a change
Really quite decent that is - better than some recent years AFTER summer recruitment in terms of a quality 11 !
Tampa is on the west coast of Florida!
That’s it. That’s exactly what I meant
Depends who you listen to!
Florida or chateaux de Pleck
There are a large number of USL games on YouTube, I think they show all there games live on there . Suggest you take a look , most are as entertaining if not better than the average WFC game we see on ifollow
I got talking to a bloke in our hotel in Santa Barbara a few weeks ago, when I was visiting our lad. Him and his missus are Louisville supporters, and were in California to watch a couple of their away games at Orange County and Monterey, where we were heading next (and we think we are good supporters!) He was really knowledgable about the league and almost talked me into going to the game (missus had other ideas though).
I had a look yesterday and they are sitting just above Tampa Bay in the league. Wish I’d have gone now.
