Where do the club go from here?
Worst season In recent memory . Lowest ever in league 2 ( 4th division ) . Worst officially since those re-election years

Hopefully this is as bad as it’s going to get
Oh trust me, with this incumbent shower of ■■■■ in charge we could end up a lot worse than this
How’s it worse than when we applied for re-election?
That was division 3 north and south not division 4.
I think it’s more about what has happened in OUR time of supporting
Exactly what I came here to post.
A bit of hyperbole around the creation of this thread.
Accepted, but on several of those occasions, that was as low as we could possibly finish in Football League structure, which isn’t remotely the case here and now.
Absolute disgrace. I do I care how much I’m told off by the Happy Clappers of which there are quite a few on this site. Not one jot. The board need to be asked a question. Walsall is working class town with people on generally low Incomes. How the hell can this Board expect people to prioritise purchasing season tickets with Nil entertainment and getting turned over every week. Simple. They are not going to!
Changed the title to be more accurate and to clarify thank you guys and gals
I genuinely don’t expect us to be any better next season.
Sorry but that’s nonsense.
Since the creation of a 4 tier football league this is our lowest ever finish.
There’s nothing hyperbolic about it, its a stone cold fact, and a huge negative milestone in the history of Walsall FC, and very much one that needs taking note of in respect of where we go from it.
Agreed.
How 19th in the bottom tier is hyperbole is completely bizarre. This is the worst season for Walsall fc, simple.
It’s the happy clapper disease. Ignore it
I guess you could look at it like that.
This is certainly the lowest we have finished in my time following Walsall, 40 years. I’m not trying to make it into something it isn’t, whichever way you look at it, this should be a wake-up call because the writing is on the wall. There will be no re-election to save us.
I find it completely bizarre that people are trying to sugar coat it tbh.
Everything is being done on the cheap. From the appointment of dutton to coming out and saying we can only sign free players

We are the embarrassment of the Midlands - worse than Hibbit and that was bad. This has been horrendous and a complete disaster for Pomlette. He needs a very good, long, hard look in the mirror.
Not getting into a debate about this season being good, it clearly isn’t.
But it’s not our worst, see 1952-53 season above!
