Agree with that. Zero confidence in manager, if we do somehow manage to go up it will be mostly despite him not because of him. Also zero expectation of going up, thats what the last 4 months has done. Highlight of my day is going to see Hawkwind in Mcr tonight. Better not tell MS that the singer Dave Brock is 85 and still fit as he will probably try to sign him as our new striker. Obviously hope we do it but the damage is done as far as iām concerned. Iām sure my passion and belief will return at some point UTS

I have no confidence at all that weāll show up in these games & fully expect us to lose painfully. There is simply no reason to believe after the debacle of the last 4 months!
That said itās game day and I am fully behind the boys! Come on you reds.

Iām trying not to think of my complete lack of confidence in MS for today until our fate is decided. Anything other than promotion however is just not good enough and the club can forget trying to spin their way out of L2 being acceptable next season.

Since Christmas we are W6 D10 L6, since Lowe left W4 D10 L6. Away form since Lowe left is W2 D6 L5. And coming off the back of an away win.
So about 75% chance of the draw/win.

Donāt mind that. Hall in a free role and the first choice backline.
Really need the central midfielders to be on it as Chesterfield have quality in that area.
All I ask for today is no repeat of Barnsley away as youāre not doing anything having to overturn a three goal deficit going into a home leg.

Canāt see anything other than a Chesterfield win - and by a good margin. They have way too much up front for us to hold back, so I predict a 4-1 drubbing.
Bear in mind, Chesterfield have got to the playoffs through goal scoring and good form over the last 2 months - while weāve got there because we were good 4 months ago!
Itās been an awful last 4 months and weāve been truly shocking at times, and unfortunately I see no reason why that should change now.

That first choice back line is important.
Williams return has definitely made us more solid. Conceded one in three since his return.
If we donāt make it, the strange ostracism of Williams for a month will be one for the enquiry. That Vale home game. Made for Harry and heās in the stands because heād āfallen down the pecking orderā. The three we conceded - oh my!!

Is Harrison on the naughty step, injured? Not sure what his situation is compared to Wheatley or DJ?
I know he hasnāt been great at all but he did score v Chesterfield in February and if itās just one upfront today he at least has the experience to play that role.
He was in fine form at Rock City in Manchester in 1972. I think Bill Moore was close to signing him but negotiations stalled over his illegal substance allowance.

The seat map for the second leg suggests that many feel the same. The number of ST holders who have not reserved their seat is quite remarkable. Bottom of the form table for a couple of months and memories of Crewe and Barnsley, have taken their toll.
