They do make a relevant point about Lowe and Simkin maybe being recalled because of good performances (especialy Lowe) as it has happened to PV in the past like it did to us last season with Freddie and our performances drop because of it
Im not so worried about Simkin being recalled as I think even now Hornby more than deserves the shirt and a contract extension.
Hope Trivela have these scenarios covered and have a plan for reinforcements if needed in January to keep the momentum

I have a feeling that playing at the Wembley of the North might suit us and our playing style, giving our marauders the space to express themselves.
Just checking t’internet, if correct, it looks as though the Vale Park pitch is around 30% bigger than Bescot’s at 8778 sq yards vs our devilish 6666.

Regards the weather it’s an early kick off which may help but this lot won’t need much persuading to get this postponed because they’ll be guaranteed top spot for a bit longer and we’ll take less on the rearranged Tuesday night fixture.
