There is every chance the Wimbledon game will be moved too, I would say, and possibly other home games if we did have a chance of promotion.
Fortunately, I can still make the games at this time, but I’d imagine there many that can’t. There are a lot of kids that play football themselves on Saturday mornings, for example.
This is only the beginning; hate it.

…and of course the potential to reduce the size of the gate on the 5th. The Sky TV money, paid as a lump sum to all clubs, irrespective of appearances, will not compensate.

Including the few we have left, just 11 of the 23 league home games this season have been on a Saturday at 3pm.

Throw in the international weekends, that we seem to love giving up, and we are left losing probably half of our 3pm kos.

People always used to moan we’m never on the tele. Why is it always Salford, Wrexham or whoever is the latest flavour of the month.
How about moan about something relevant. Being fleeced by Trivela or Sadlers (mis)management of our fortunes since Jan.
They all jumped at the money with no thought on how if would affect fans.
Blame the clubs.

I was out on my own when I was bemoaning the work in the January window and now a fair few can see it.
The 1.7m loss, interest on the loans and Trivela not having the resource to run 3 clubs to the required level will come home to roost. Multiclub ain’t going to go down well long term at WFC.
And well, Mat Sadlers short comings are currently playing out live on a weekly basis ! With us all hoping they won’t cost us promotion.

I’m ok with early kick offs for home games but I absolutely hate them as away games and regardless of what league we are in next season I won’t bother with 1230 starts. Sky can shove em up their rear.

What I don’t do though is knock Trivela and their multi-club ownership position and the accounting position doesn’t worry me either…
I also haven’t had the good fortune to be blessed with the ability to see into the future….
