Before the game yesterday, I turned up too late to get there but Matt Taylor attended. Respect.
A very nice thing for the club to do. I did think that Santa and his “Ho Ho Ho’s” should have been a bit further away from the event while it was taking place. The people there were remembering loved ones.
The Supporters’ Trust organised both events. Helen Thorpe-Wood, a Trust Board member conducted the service, assisted by the club Chaplain, Lance Blackwood. I don’t think that the toy collection was too close, personally. We went where directed by the club. Both events seemed to be well-received, despite the poor weather!
Fair play , where’s Pomlett and his henchmen.
Calling Gamble and Mole “henchmen” is a stretch too far for my imagination.
Anyroad, what were they remembering?
May have been the fans who were killed in Tunisia?
It was to remember supporters who have died during the pandemic.
I was walking past and stopped to show respect there were other club officials there stood over the other side including Dan Mole
