Don’t worry, we’re paying for it.
He played for Rushall Olympic, last season.
Praise the Lard!!
Just because we are owned by Americans it doesn’t make a tap a faucet!
Bog handle gilder.
Where there’s muck there’s brass (handles)
Okay, keep you diaper on!
Whatever fees we paid for Dave and Barrett (the jury is still out on Browne) the club has recouped in spades. Barrett has been sensational at RWB so far this season. Dave is still a work in progress, a solid defender who will improve with the right coaching.
Hope Browne can also play RWB. It would be good to have cover other than Albert.
We signed Rico, not Hope…
Luckily, because it’s the Hope that kills you.
This is surely a good move and reinforces an area where we are injury prone.
On the point of the money spent, some are investments, spending a relatively small amount with the potential to sell for more later.
Whatever happens, Trivela have been as good as their word in the way they are operating.
Looks like this could potentially be another promising signing, and fits the profile of player that Trivela and Sadler have been looking to bring in during their tenure.
As @Laundryman stated, it provides us with much needed immediate cover with how much we are currently struggling for numbers in central defensive positions.
I want to highlight another encouraging sign/aspect of this signing from Trivela. I suspect that they are already contingently thinking ahead to next season, where Rico could be a potential replacement for Farquharson considering his unfortunate injury record. Once the injured defenders return, we can nurture and develop Rico gradually throughout the season, without too much pressure on his young shoulders, with a view for him to kick on next season, similar to the trajectory of Okagbue.
I really like some of the aspects of how Trivela are operating with the recruitment, in the sense that things seem to be much more measured, calm and calculated. When we suffered that succession of injuries during the Cheltenham game, we looked to be in a serious crisis in central defensive positions and we could’ve easily panic bought and rushed any player through the doors.
The fact that Rico has been on trial with us over the past two weeks shows that they have a level of self-restraint within their decision-making, and aren’t prepared to compromise or deviate from the importance of ensuring that Rico fits the right profile of signing that we are after. The club have also done their due-diligence by being able to gauge through the past two weeks of training around where he is at with his fitness, and whether he is competitive amongst the rest of the squad.
Very encouraging signs all around.
Wasn’t she the hooker that gave Hugh Grant a BJ in an LA toilet?!!
