Absolutely heartbreaking news, R. I. P
I will forever remember every time we got a free kick within 50 yards of the goal “Shakey Shakey Shakey”
Great player and a true gentleman.
Gone too soon.
RIP
One of my favourites. Rest in peace Shakey.
Fantastic player & person.
No way… just seen this and had to look twice. So sad, gutted and thoughts go out to his family.
Terrible news, RIP Shakey, you were brilliant and will always be remembered.
Awful news, part of the most entertaining midfield i have seen in nearly sixty years.
Absolutely awful news.
I have been fortunate to be in his company on a number of occasions.
A proper football man. Even from afar, he was so invested in the ongoings at our beloved football club. He stated how grateful he was to Walsall for giving him a platform in professional football.
We must pay our respects to this great man appropriately.
RIP Shakey. We have lost ‘a gooden’.
RIP Shakey will never forget you one of our greatest players will never forget that goal at notts county in the playoffs
RIP Shakey. One of those players who stands out in your memory. Always felt confident when he stood over a free kick. Terrible news.
Such sad news. Always hoped he might return one day.
That one sprung to my mind immediately and the one from the halfway line v Chelsea in the Milk Cup.
Great memories,

Awfully sad news. RIP Craig.
Things like this put everything in perspective.
Absolutely gutted.
What a wonderful footballer and adored by Albion and Wednesday fans too.
O’Kelly and Deano will be heartbroken, I’m sure. Awful, awful news.
God bless Shakey
No way. That’s so terribly sad. Memories of the those howitzer free kicks from outside the box.
RIP Shakey
60yo. So sad !
Was always proud to see him do so well with the coaching !
Nasty disease.
What a loss, can’t quite believe it. Now that was a lad who could hit a free kick. Always seemed to score from them, but that maybe my memory remembering the good times.
Great player, part of that great midfield with Preecy, both taken too young.
RIP Shakey
Very sad news, what a great player he was. RIP
Was there on the day as the ball just dropped to him it was only going in one place back of the net !!
