Rushall Olympic fans

Don’ think they were being made to feel special enough at WFC😢 It says a lot more about them than the club, some people love being a victim

^ summarises it perfectly

Or they got sick and tired of the lack of ambition and pomlett and co taking the piss/laughing at us while thinking they’re the dogs bollocks . Add in bonsor lining his own pockets at our expense, who can blame anyone having enough? People go on about the yanks yet we’re 15 hours away from the same outcomes the previous ownerships put us in but we own the stadium but no idea how much we pay or how long until the mortgage paid off. People thought we was gonna pay 25 million for draper ffs :joy:. It’s like an episode of brookside. Us finishing 8th would be the icing on the cake.

Haven’t we all been pissed off at the club for one reason or another? Like fans of any club? Yet, here we are. And there they are.

I really don’t care how you try and justify it anyway. You just don’t/can’t change club. Weather you stop attending matches etc, that’s another story. But changing club!? Bit weird.

I guess it depends on what Walsall means to you, it means different things to everyone.

It has just been a way of life to me, linked to a million memories of times spent with my Dad. All the friends I have made, 90% of my friends are Walsall fans. If Walsall didn’t exist anymore, I’d probably knock football on the head altogether.

When you decide to follow a football club, it is for better or for worse, and there has been far more worse over the years, but that makes the good times better. You don’t get to choose.

If people want to move on and do different things then that is their choice. What I didn’t like was the way some of them slagged Walsall off. No need, a lot of Walsall fans wish Rushall well. (Not me, I’m a Pelsall lad!)

I had a couple of rare Walsall badges my Dad gave me, one was mine, and one was his that I had when he passed away. I lost mine for a long time, and it turned up in a coat pocket. I gave that badge to one of the fans who moved on to Rushall, never asked for a penny. There were quite a few people who wanted it, but I thought he was a top Walsall fan, always there and I knew he collected badges. Wish I hadn’t done that now, cos it could have gone to someone who it would have meant a lot more to. Nevermind.
