Sadler gone! Save our season!

But it is the scale of the investment. I can’t say it enough, 18 million pounds. People go “Oh but they were never going to spend that money on Walsall”, no of course they weren’t. They wouldn’t need too. In fact, our very top earner is reported to be on £182,000 a year. By that math you could pay 98 Danny Johnsons for the season for that money! (yes yes I know they’d all still only be on the bench).

The point is, if they had the money for that investment, they had the money to give us a squad that should be beyond question one of the strongest in the division. With an awful lot of change left over. They probably still have.

Trivela will use cash generated by the club over the next few years to pay the loan raised to purchase the freehold we should never have sold. As the bank loan reduces and the freehold equity increases the Trivela investment will also increase in value - even if we remain in division 4 for ever.
UP THE SADDLERS

REally? This crap again?
Firstly 2 different issues there.
“Hiking” our prices, after a price reduction and freeze. Like everything else in the country, all businesses have put their prices up, inflation etc etc.
The investment in Silkeborg is as you know an irrelevance. They are supposedly trying to run Walsall in a sustainable way. The initial spend in buying the club was from their pot; just like the £18mill for Silkeborg. Who weirdly, being a bigger/more successful club cost more.
They’ve then used their position as owners to get the loan/mortgage for the ground, which will save the club money in the long run.
Essentially to answer this crap.

They always said that they weren’t just going to bankroll us to success like Wrexham, so they wouldn’t just be throwing extra cash in for general running costs, would they?
Anyway that’s all on this for me (Although it’s possibly the 4th time or more that you’ve gone off on one about this).

Yeah this crap again. You can try to dismiss facts all you want, they are still facts.

For a bloke who has spent all year telling everyone else they are talking crap though, only for them to be shown to be completely correct, I have to admire the confidence :+1:

Lol.

Yep. It’s yet more bollocks from excuse makers. There were plenty of bombastic statements when they took over. Now spending 18 million on somebody else while we shit the bed is absolutely fine.

And how we laughed.

How predictable.

Sale at the club shop online, offers across most products except bottle(s) as the club hasn’t got any

As i posted yesterday, 2.3 points per game up to and including MK Dons. 0.8 points per game since.

There will be chapters in sports psychology and management and leadership training manuals written about this. “Doing a Walsall” (copyright @P.T) will become a phrase used in wider parlance.

I think we need to get Greg Norman and Jean Van Velde to join the Walsall board - we can all compare notes on the greatest bottle jobs of all time!!

Life, more like. It’s always easier to troll when your points dry up (not you). Always thought spam posts weren’t allowed, sort of shit I’m copping a ban for.

And the year of our creation too - what a coincidence

Yes this is the thing. What we have ‘achieved’ is almost impossible and has probably never been done in the league before. That’s what makes it so devasting and perplexing.

Put another way, our points tally suddenly dropped by 70% overnight which is incredible.

Another simple lens is to say we went from being the best team in the league to the worst. Again it defies belief.

I’m still in a state of numb shock that we actualky managed to f**k things up in such a sustained and unprecedented way.
