I love being a Walsall fan, always have and always will. If I was all bitter and twisted like you, I’d consider doing something else rather than constantly bitching on a Walsall fans forum, especially when we are having one of our best seasons.

Even with promotion (which I’ll be happy with no bitching) this remains a tat season to most of us

I have loved this season after such a shitshow on and off the field for so long. It should be giving us hope not just for this season, but the long term future under Trivela.
With football you pays your money, you take your chance. You can go on a 20 game winless run at the start or end of a season. All l know is there are 17 other clubs’ fans that would happily swap places with us right now, and we still have a chance of promotion.
I had been called negative as I watched in horror a we slid down the football pyramid with a whimper. I think we can see some of the true negative Nelly’s now. And I don’t mean anyone expressing a concern, we can all appreciate concern. Is the wrist wringing, over the top garbage, agreements with tolls, that I am still quite shocked at.
Some are directing their anger at Boycott and Trivela. Let me tell you that if they sod off and leave us with Pomlett, Walsall fans really will have something to complain about

That would require Donny to pick up no more than 1 point, and Vale and Bradford to pick up no more than 3, over the next two games, and for us to win both of ours. Bearing in mind we’ve only won 2 games at all in the last 3 months, and the fact we’ve only won twice at Gresty Road in the last 20 years, I’d concentrate on 3rd and forget any title talk.

I have had some great days this season and some great nights in the cups actually. Enjoyed Blues away in the cup in particular.
It all seems such a distant memory now though, it doesn’t even feel like it was this season in some ways.
It will all be defined by if we get promoted or not to me. If we fail it will probably be my worst season following Walsall ever. I just can’t believe what has happened. It’s a disgrace. I know not everyone feels that way, I wish I didn’t. I do, though. The ramifications moving forward shouldn’t be ignored either.

Agree, we CAN still win league and although the odds are probably greater than winning the National Lottery jackpot😂, where there’s life there’s hope.

We beat Accrington
Sat 3rd May :
Notts county beat Doncaster 1-0
Bradford beat Fleetwood 1-0
We beat Crewe (yes we definitely will !!)
Port Fail beat Gillingham
Walsall 80 points
Port Fail 80 points
Doncaster 79 points
Bradford. 79 points
Doncaster same goal difference as Bradford but promoted on more goals scored😂
Call me crazy if you want but stranger things have happened in football and especially in this division this season where everyone gives others another chance, it is definitely not beyond the realms of probability.
