Only chance of getting anything from this car crash ending is Sadler has to go and reset for the play offs. As it stands we will be lucky to get another 3 or 4 points and will get embarrased in the play offs with a toxic atmosphere.

I don’t think they will. They have given Sadler a contract extension until 2028 and have conned the suporter base with cheap early 25/26 season ticket sales and the money is now in the Club’s coffers. They have stated that they are happy with incremental progress and even if we finish 7th it will be progress on last season and good many seasons before that

Expected Sadler to have gone by the time i got home, but obviously not, doesn’t know his best team and in management decisions leaves a lot to be desired, he’s been lucky in that he as stumbled upon decisions that have been taken out his hands in regards team selections in the past year either suspensions or injuries and now he don’t know what is best team is

I agree, it’s essentially now or never. I don’t have enough information to know whether sacking him is the right decision and if it’ll change our trajectory.
If there is a split in the camp as has been suggested and he has lost the majority of the dressing room then he has to go. I can understand it if there is tbh. Lakin not good enough to be in the 18 one week then in the starting XI the next. This happened in reverse to Wheatley and Josh Gordon. Levi plays well then is dropped, same for Asiimwe. McEntee is a CM then a CB, same for Allen. Players frozen out without explanation while underperforming players play week in week out. He hasn’t known his best team for a good long while, constantly changing the team but not the way we play hoping for a different result.
On the flip side, if the team and the squad is with him then the club need to spread this message far and wide and let’s have one final push to the end. If Williams is off so be it, help us get promotion on your way out lad. We desperately need some positivity from somewhere in the run up to Friday or else Harrogate could be one of the most toxic atmospheres in a long long time if we play anything like today.

The style of play is remarkably similar. Flynn was doing pretty well until DJ went back, like Sadler was until he lost Lowe.
Sadler has without doubt been backed better than Flynn.
Would I want Flynn back? No, definitely not.
I dunno what a modern, Inclusive coach is. I don’t want another one of those, though if Sadler is an example.
Maybe someone who doesn’t play 3 at the back and plays a centre forward to defend set pieces (and still fails at them)
