Sadler out! Save our season!

Life, more like. It’s always easier to troll when your points dry up (not you). Always thought spam posts weren’t allowed, sort of shit I’m copping a ban for.

And the year of our creation too - what a coincidence

Yes this is the thing. What we have ‘achieved’ is almost impossible and has probably never been done in the league before. That’s what makes it so devasting and perplexing.

Put another way, our points tally suddenly dropped by 70% overnight which is incredible.

Another simple lens is to say we went from being the best team in the league to the worst. Again it defies belief.

I’m still in a state of numb shock that we actualky managed to f**k things up in such a sustained and unprecedented way.

I agree when the dust settles this needs the club to be open and transparent and meticulous in the spirit of a learning culture in understanding and explaining how this came to pass. The fans have been incredible and out in force throughout the dreadful second phase so we do deserve to know.

We don’t need anymore comments from the club.

We don’t need platitudes or appeasement.

We need Sadler and the players to work and graft with passion for the remaining 4 games.

They need to attack this with the knowledge their careers and livelihoods are on the line, specifically Mat Sadler. Channel any disappointment or ‘deflation’ into aggression and Lazer eyed clarity. Seek outside council, take the players to St Georges park and thrash the f**k out of them physically and emotionally and then build it back. Bring them together, like coaches should.

Hire a NLP specialist.. have them talk to some high profile ex players who have done it before.. spend a bit of money and take them up the Brecon beacons like Smith did years ago. Offer them 5k promotion bonuses, or maybe even a contract. DO Something NEW.

Fight and win. Be ruthless and just get it right.

We have beat all the teams we are due to play, we can do it again, we just need a massive reset.

Just seen this. I have posted something similar on another thread. Whatever happens on Saturday we should be given a full explanation of why the club think this record breaking season has occurred …we all have our own theories but I would like BB or someone give us their account ..If they did it might restore some confidence for next season. I will be there whatever but I would like to hear something from the hierarchy.

When you read some of the stats and comments on here, I genuinely have no idea how the club recovers from this.

I’d go further and say we need an independent, judge-led* public enquiry with the power to subpoena witnesses, to be televised live in the Locker.

*We already have a KC to do this (King Crod)

Apologies for the frivolity, but it’s part of my coping mechanism!

Why is everone moaning?
We are in the record books. We are going to have a famous quote based on our exploits and best of all there is an end of season sale. UTS.

And of course “since 1888” is the same as saying “ever.” So, we’re pretty special. How often have we been the first ever, at anything? Mat Sadler has put us in the record books.

Is he still with us? Just logged on hoping for good news!

I think that’s the case for many of us .

Yes we have had more worldies scored against us than any other team in the league .
Bet the Crewe manager as pointed this opportunity out to his players before Saturday.

A Vale mate described us a an elephant up a tree, no one can figure out how we got up there but all know we were coming back down.

Yet another statement that says nothing.

Keep fighting should be a given.

It’s the least we expect.

What we want to know is how he plans to change things so that we can at least have a shot on target or keep a clean sheet.

Please Mat

Stop saying

Keep fighting
Work hard in training
Dust ourselves down

It was boring after the first 10 games you said it so it’s grating as we approach 20 games saying the same thing doing the same thing.

Really Boycott do you not see what gets fed to us.

Make the announcement!

How far can he take a team when he’s lost the crowd.

He has lost the fanbase (well most of them) and you are right it cannot carry on, have said all along that it wont happen until the season finally ends and our fate is confirmed. I committed to my ST as a leap of faith, had I have not already committed I would not have renewed until he was gone, surely there will be others with the same view. There is the concern that they may have sold the required amount for the budget, but somehow I doubt it. We are just going to have to wait and sure infuriating as that is, if they get rid they would only give to Byfield or Waddock and most likely that will have very little impact on the outcome. My guess is they will now take the gamble, he isnt acting like a man under pressure that is for sure.

The Americans are renowned for loving stats in their sports, so I’ll give them a few to add to those that can be found in the form book.

Optima had us as 99.5% certain to go up automatically, i.e it would take monumental mismanagement to not.

Based on that you could expect it to take you 200 years to find someone who could mismanage to the point that they achieved it from the same point as us.

The above means it’s likely to take longer to find someone that could f$@# up this badly than the organised football league has existed in this country.

Hell of an achievement that.

Apparently Sadler has been communicating to the wider group via his/ the senior leadership group for the past few weeks. Says it all.
