Dictated by them after they shut down meetings with supporters groups and actually knocked that down from 3 forums to 2.
Lovely garage they have painted though.

It’s a fair response from the club. I would have done the same in their shoes. Every email or statement from the ISSA comes across to me as aggressive and confrontational rather than been solution focused. Yes, your supporters who care about the club, but expressing that passion, anger, and disappointment isn’t what’s needed.
It is the only way we (ISSA) have any way of real contact with them.
Are they really going to answer all of our questions, and questions that fans have sent to us? I have two pages written out already and I haven’t even started. Genuine questions too, that need asking.
The whole night will just be self preservation for them, get through it as quickly as possible and disappear for 6 months.
I thought I was going mad when I read that reply. I was sure it was three meetings that they had originally agreed to in the fan engagement plan.
I’m no fan of ISSA, but it is a fact that they shut down fan engagement groups pretty much immediately.
What a load of rubbish.
Yep. I know, because I personally asked that question at the very first meet the owner meeting They said there would be three, and arranged at concrete dates the fans were aware of so they couldn’t be accused of picking and choosing when they happen. That never happened.
They would probably have brought the forum earlier if we were promoted but by announcing it in June hoping all the shit would have died down and fans would be resigned to have not gone up but don’t they know our fans after so much expectation will hold this failure for a very long time
I agree - to some extent. The tone is always that of a spurned lover - not one of a constructive partner. I also find the. grammer. hard to. read.
I do agree that ISSA should be able to have a pre-submitted QnA along with the Trust - even if its just 1 time, to bring closure to the mess.
Our first ever contact with Trivela (Via the SLO) Was asking for a meeting to share some of the work ISSA do in the community, which is something we were led to believe they were interested in. Nothing aggressive about it at all.
It was made quite clear then that we should use the current available options of communication. Fans forums, chairman’s messages, matchday programme notes and contact should go via the SLO.
It might be worth adding, ISSA have offered many solutions to the Club, some of which were taken up, some not. They have also made many donations.
Of course when questions are being asked, it is often the case that there is a problem. It isn’t aggression, but sometimes being direct is necessary.
You are of course, entitled to your opinion, but I just thought I would clarify a few things.
Lot of bullshit in those first few meetings. I remember specific comments about how they wanted a “presence in the wider community” as well. And indeed, they have offered School tickets out (which we already did), offered random cheapo ticket deals (which we already did) and do visit schools and hospitals (which we already did).
June gives plenty of time for one of the following outcomes to not only have manifest itself, but to have become accepted.
The ethos of Trivela which I reckon comes from their religious values, and is gratefully echoed by Sadler, is that any form of failure can be spun as a positive, it isn’t “failure” as such, but an opportunity to grow and learn from adversity, its a test of faith in their values from which everyone needs to emerge stronger and with evermore stronger faith in the processes.
Of course this doesn’t resonate with your average football fan that understands how football works and what success and failure actually looks like. Its competitive sport with definitive outcomes, not some never ending road to Damascus.
Say what you will, but Trivela have largely stuck to their word and delivered on several key promises. It’s clear they’re trying to build something sustainable, and it’s time we, as fans, meet them halfway. Strengthening the relationship between the board and the fanbase can only help push this club forward.
Unlike previous ownerships, we haven’t seen our best players sold off or the squad weakened for short-term gains. When there was outside interest in our young, promising manager, the board backed him and kept him here - I’m of the opinion Sadler should now be sacked but give credit where it’s due.
Whatever division we find ourselves in next season - League One or League Two - this year has been a step forward. We’ve exceeded most expectations, and Trivela can rightly point to real, incremental progress. Sure, the January signings looked good on paper but didn’t quite work out on the pitch - but that’s football.
So thank you, Trivela, for what’s been an unpredictable, emotional ride. It didn’t end the way we’d hoped, but it’s been a journey nonetheless. I would have took a play off place at the start of the season, as many others would have. Now, eyes forward.
If we do fall short of promotion this time around, we forget about the last twelve months, the key questioning for that Fans Forum in June becomes: How do we build on this season? How does Trivela plan to go one better in 2025/26 and finally get us over the line?
Despite the clear examples given of that not being the case. They’ve stuck to their word largely when it benefits them.
What on earth are you talking about? Most fans won’t have a bad word said about them!
Extremely generous. A lad who couldn’t make it off the bench for another league two side and a couple of loan deals.
So you’re saying fans haven’t met them halfway?
Prey tell us what else we are required to do?
Keep quiet and don’t question anything, I think.
Nail on head
Let’s be honest- us not succeeding doesn’t benefit Trivela. Promotion to League One would be more profitable for them too, so they’re just as motivated as we are to get there. The key difference is they want to do it the right way -sustainably.
We’re not going to see a Wrexham-style fairytale here, and that’s okay. It means we need to stay realistic and understand that this is a longer-term project, not an overnight fix.
Just remember - only a few years ago we were staring down the barrel of National League football. Look how far we’ve come already.
It f***ing amazes me that people roll this one out, when every time I say they probably should have invested more in the side to ensure promotion I am told there is nothing in it for them! It’s almost as if apologists want it both ways.
Not if you are whacking down 18 million quid on other football clubs, probably not, no. “the right way” Jesus Christ what a nauseating phrase. Where is your proof that Wrexham have done things the “wrong” way? They seem in pretty good shape to me.
Ah the old “it could be worse, it could be Bonser argument” except when that was happening that is what people were telling me. Now that is the worst case scenario
The continued over-reliance on loan players doesn’t scream sustainability to me.
“its time??” The support has been superb all season, both in numbers and quality.
They’ll be the only ones doing it, they invented it. Nobody else in the football universe has heard of it.
They’re going to love you!! So this season has been such a success on the incremental progress front…but you want to forget it ever happened. Hmmmm.
Just to add, clubs other than Wrexham have been promoted from League Two.
