Schools ticket programme

My Grandson attends St Michael’s in Pelsall and they sold the most tickets in the schools programme in the borough so got a player visit today…

The kids were told beforehand that there’d be an opportunity to ask a question so my Grandson quizzed me what he should ask and went to school today pre-loaded with his question

Taylor Allen and Brandon Comley took the questions and so my Grandson asked them how many points they would get from the next 3 games :grinning:

For completeness - they said they didn’t know…… not sure what emoji to put to that!

I went to St Michael’s

The idiots I went to school with would probably have asked who the Villa were playing.

Sounds like there are a few more interested in Walsall these days, which is good. I think I was the only Walsall fan there in the early 80s.

His Dads Villa but I managed to ensure his older brother is now a Saddler (STH with me) so I remain hopeful I can get him on the straight and narrow as they say… :+1:

Pelsall certainly seems to still be a Villa-centric area so pleased the tickets went well - just need a win on Saturday to help get a few, more interested in WFC…

Must add a great big thankyou to Taylor Allen & Brandon Comley, for the time they spent after school signing shirts , autograph books & photos, queue was across the playground, they must have been there at least an hour after school finished.

Really nice with the kids great work by them, and the club, hope they get the promotion we deserve.

I went to St Michael’s way back in the day 1972-78, was one of just a handful of Saddlers I recall … also had the honour of planting the tree saplings all along the bank of the playing fields … and when my own children went in 2006 onwards the trees had grown tall and strong … all good things come to those that wait, just like this promotion season… COYS
