You get presicely what you pay for a lot of the time and as a fanbase we should know more than most 
I think Simkin is 4 inches short of being a great keeper and his time wasting is top draw.

Id rather they had played with no keeper. Might have kept coventry score lower
I mean he is 6 foot 2 right?
Jimmy Walker is 5 foot 10 and even that is debatable.
Big keepers aren’t always the best.

Referees have not been enforcing the 6 seconds rule, don’t anticipate much change for 8 seconds myself.

This was my thinking - it’s written like it’s a groundbreaking way to stop time wasting but there’s already a rule that’s incredibly easy to understand and enforce.
Reducing the punishment and increasing the time won’t help at all once the initial push is out the way.

The big improvement is that a corner will be awarded rather than an indirect free kick.
Free kicks in the penalty area are rare, and they generate a lot of hassle and encroachment, and are very awkward to referee, whereas corners are commonplace and accepted.
With the referee visibly counting down the last five seconds with his hand, this should mean that goalkeepers do not waste so much time from now on.
I agree. It will be enforced but rarely used, like the pass back rule.
Now all they’ve got to do is introduce a rule to prevent shirt pulling & holding and stop foul throws… oh wait a minute…

I’d be absolutely thrilled if we got him for another season which will only be possible if we get promotion. He would be a huge asset for next year.
