Here we go. People criticising the selection despite it being more conservative than any of the team selections from fans I saw.
Maybe the ones criticising weren’t the same ones?
No, the problem being that even playing at the level we are requires some element of physical and mental sharpness and you don’t get that in training or sitting on the bench. It’s the wrong time to be bringing in 2 players who hardly have a game between them all season.
Maybe it doesn’t matter who he’d have picked they are all ■■■■
I thought water break after 32 minutes will be a highlight. I didn’t know Walsall was transferred to some warmer area. No, two goals conceded, one fortunately after half time whistle. I can’t see how team will score two goals, even one looks like a miracle. Ok, was more commitment, more fight, but quality is missing. From both sides, but one scored 1.5 goal.

I criticise bringing in players who aren’t match fit. No problem with the other 3 changes, swapping players around, but you cannot ask a player to perform to a decent level when they’ve hardly played competitive football in the last 12 months. What you get is a lack of sharpness and a lack of judgement, leading to mistakes and, unfortunately, a goal.
Can’t fault the selection, you can only pick ■■■■, when you only have ■■■■ at your disposal. Dean Judas Keates has proper ■■■■■■ this club up.
Love to be a fly on the wall of the dressing room right now. For the life of me I cannot see how we’ll score 2 goals in the next 3 games let alone this coming half…
Down without even a whimper - absolute disgrace.
I cannot think of any other club going down with such a whimper in the stands. Oldham fans were up in arms, passionate, noisy - have we just had all of the passion battered out of us from those above, assuring us we should be happy with cast offs, kids and crocks?
When are our fans gonna wake up to the predicament we find ourselves in? These lot are not going to save this club this year, its been patently clear for months.

There’s no team to back, they couldn’t care less if they’re relegated, none of them are showing any passion just talking ■■■■ in press. Just get rid of the lot and play the kids.
What’s happened here is Southend worked out after about 20 mins that we are here for the taking.

The whole club and team is broken, run down, disjointed, and not interested.
We are now in freefall and falling fast, only question is how far will we fall.
Years of no investment only extraction is finally brutally hitting home.
And still some think the answer is to keep talking.

We’ve had more investment recently than ever before… You can’t always blame that, we just had an inexperienced manager who blew the budget on non league players who couldn’t care of we go down…
