I’ve woken up and I’m absolutely buzzing. Nothing but positivity and hope today ( until I see the line up anyway). Come on me babies, we’re long overdue a win. It’s time for Sadler to earn his plaudits if he pulls this 1 off over the next 2 weeks.
How many years has it been since Saturday morning has been so full of “possibility and excitement”. I am loving this season, experiences home and away with my 22year old son, whom I have dragged him kicking and screaming to Bescot since he was around 8 or 9. He experienced Wembley, a few terrific away days but nothing quite like this, tbf in my almost 50 years of following The Saddlers there have been few seasons like this one as we all know. I have recently “feared the worst” as Ben eludes to BUT I am still dreaming. 4 home wins, given the challengers we face in two of them could be enough so we can be the extra motivation a young faltering squad need. MS has his part to play too with a match day XI at 2pm needing to spark a little extra excitement and anticipation, then it’s down to us to roar the the lads over the white line and then the players to come out with “fire in the belly”… todays crowd will be huge and with a performance today the place will be rocking which would fill ALL with a huge amount of much needed confidence before Donny on Tuesday. Saturday against The Vile doesn’t need any hype but two good performances and some points on the board will make that as big an event as Bescot has seen since the Preston semi final. I am desperate for 1pm to arrive so I can set off for the pre match nerve settlers, the rest of the day is a write off until then as I simply have one focus … getting behind the lads to do all I can to get another 3 pts on the board, I know we all feel the same so COYS on and off the pitch WE’VE GOT THIS
When he should be thinking maybe I should have pulled my finger out in January ? Instead of peacocking on Twitter and delivered without the silly statements.
I’m optimistic about a result and I’ll be fully behind the team. Doesn’t mean I have to like being told to get behind the lads from one of the blokes who had the biggest chance to get behind them in January and didn’t …
Bit late asking us for help Ben when they’ve blown the lead and none of the signings you made can get a kick.
The statement he made may have been a bit naive, but I don’t think he has anything to do with the players we bring in (I could be wrong) and he certainly has nothing to do with not selecting any of the ones we did.
He has been a massive upgrade on his predecessors. That is how you make progress: by getting better people into all areas of the Club.
