Swindon Town (A) 2nd Nov, 3pm

No, so questions are rightfully being asked. What’s your point?

I simply asked this question, Have we “gelled” yet chaps?
Get a life pal, and while you`re at it get a sense of humour yer Dunderhead.

Is that at another level than being ‘woolly headed’ ?:rofl:

The fact you’ve written us off and consigned is to relegation 2 days into November because of our dreadful recent run. You’d think we were 10 points adrift at the bottom, despite our shocking run we’re still 2 clear of the bottom. It’s not good, it’s shocking, but nothing is over yet. If you were there on Saturday you would see we actually played ok, we did against Mansfield too but we are getting punished for basic errors in both boxes and a chronic lack of confidence but if we keep putting in what we did on Saturday results will turn.

I hope your correct because as much i agree we looked a little better its still very poor

Bit of an aggressive response. Weird.

Exactly what i thought about your response SS.

The problem with that is we are a poor team, and poor teams need to pick up points when they have their odd decent days especially in this league where most teams are poor and will so likewise some will play badly against us. The reality is we were doing that earlier in the season, but now we’ve stopped doing it. Other teams are openly admitting playing badly against us, Swindon and Mansfield being good examples, but they both walked off with 3 points and we got nowt. So we now need a two step improvement, and that most certainly doesn’t involve simply carrying on what we’re doing with fingers crossed. Firstly we need the manager to start picking an organised, fit, coherant team. And secondly in January we need some astute quality signings. Those are the two areas where Clark has cocked up majorly so far, and most worrying of all he doesn’t seem to accept that he has. I think that’s where people have genuine concerns about the months ahead. None of us know why Sinclair, Clark and McDonald were missing Saturday, but undoubtedly they have been amongst our key contributants this season (for example they’ve scored 6 of our goals between them). Does anyone know why Clark has binned what looked like the positive partnership between Jules and McDonald down the left flank? Because I’m blown if I know why - are we in a position to toss away such green shoots in our position?? Certainly not, so why do it? At the moment the whole thing looks like a clueless mess rather than something that is about to click into gear, which to be fair a month ago it might have done if Clark hadn’t done so much tinkering.

So much sense its unreal for UTS! Couldnt of put it better myself, Seriously tho GS, If we dont trust DC too fix now the mess could be even worse BUT if its bad trust in DC were going into a whole new place for this club and honestly…It would put this already very weak club on its knee’s…

PS…Prings family was sat with us on Saturday and even his mom looked a bit lost by it all! they was very polite and hopeful that we can turn it around tho, Great too see

Absolutely spot on, that paragraph sums up the mess that DC has produced. Who amongst us can predict what he will do next to extricate himself from his own incompetent ineptitude. And some want to give him until January to bring in more useless tosspot drivel! The mind boggles at such a thought.
I understand Pomlett is offering a prize for any fan who predicts what team of misfits (that must include DC’s love child Holden-‘I can miss an open goal from 10 yards’ of course) he puts on the pitch for Saturdays encounter.
Unfortunately the prize is tickets for the next few home matches, so no bugga will enter!

I have a question about Walsall managers: as supporters, there is a common consensus that we should pick a formation and stick to it. Can someone explain why it is easier to predict the England team than the Walsall team? We have players in every position which is good but barring injuries, suspensions and loss of form, surely the 1 to 11 should be settled.
The next two weeks will determine whether we need to start again or whether the green shoots of recovery could emerge.
For clarification, 3 players in January and a bit of confidence could transform our season. But will Clarke’s stubbornness prove to be his undoing?

The only reason I can muster for his selection of Holden all the time is that his parent club must have said he has to play at least 20 games for us or something along those lines.

Romaine Sawyers has been quality for the baggies on sky man of the match by a mile have him back in a heart beat

Yeah - he’s running the game for the bagladies - what an accomplished player he looks…

Well, I was right with Dean Smith, I was right with Romaine Sawyers, I was right with Bakayoko. Only time will tell if I am right again…

I have heard this statement so many times over the last 3 seasons that its stopped having any impact - although I think you may be right! However, I still blame JB for the continual downward trajectory of this club - his mismanagement will take years to turn around. Just like Randy Lerners spell at Villa…no quick fix…
