Their supporters are a bit special.
They even wanted a knock the day we won the league there and they had just got promoted. Who goes looking for a fight when you’ve just won promotion? Swindon apparently.

That’s the one knew it was a beating
Trams at this level are so inconsistent year on year. Swindon were class that year
Agreed, terrible when they go on strike too, struggle to get to work in the mornings.
We’ve got this , the first of many 1-0 away day snatch and grab raids this season on the march to 83.
A late second half goal from the Jellinator
Believe
Despite a late wobble, it will be game set and match…
Let’s hope he plays in the mould of the last couple of games and he’ll do well.
Yeah was going to say the same. This is where I always park although I’m on the train today via London as it’s quicker for me!
OG’s got his work cut out today.
C’mon you OG’s !!!
One thing I’d like to see improved this season is our start to games.
Sadler must get them focused and up for it right from the kick off.
Last year we were so slow out of the blocks.
Would be happy with a draw today and I think we’ll get that. UTS!!
I parked on the car park at the ground when I went last year
I remember a few minor scuffles before the game, although afterwards both sets of supporters were swapping shirts!
Heading off for this shortly. I hope I’m a better omen away from home than last season. Witnessed 3 losses out of 3 - goals for 1, goals against 11!
I predict a 1-1 draw today.
Mcentee wins a lot of aerial duels stick him on Harry Smith
I reckon the Priest will be given that job although both he and McEntee can look after themselves.
Elsewhere, we have early kick-offs…
Bromley 1 AFC Wimbledon 0 (35 min)
Carlisle Utd 1 Barrow 0 (35 min) … moves us up to 9th as things stand!
0-0 draw 36% possession.
Absolutely one of the weirdest football clubs about. Fans are a special breed.
Their fans are inbred more like.
We just walked up from the train station in Walsall shirts. The amount of abuse was nuts, I’m kind of glad we are still in one piece. Reminds me a bit of Crewe with all the 14-16 year olds thinking they are invincible. And Rambo men hanging out of cars …while driving. They are quite polite at the same time as they ask if you want a punch
Once you get nearer the ground there are more examples of normal fans who are happy to chat.
Bromley 2 AFC Wimbledon 0 (60 min) … this moves us up to 8th place…
We are in Cricklade, civilised and respectful discussions with the locals.
