The club is doing another offer for the next Tuesday night game against Gillingham.
A quite superb offer, I hope the club is duly rewarded for its generosity with an outstanding take up.
Agreed…come on folks get behind this team. They deserve our support now more than ever.
Odd one for a Tuesday almost a waste of an offer imo but should boost the mid week crowd a tad
Would’ve been a lot better for the Saturday game against chesterfield
Assuming the offer has to be extended to away fans as well, with Chesterfield likely to bring 1500+ that would have been a lot of lost revenue. MK or Salford though and I agree.
Decent offer but will be interesting to see how much of a take up there is.
Would have liked to have seen this for the Salford game with the away end also available to our fans
Just got my ticket,ÂŁ5 with concessions
It’s only £1 for kids.
There will be another schools day before the end of the season . Maybe that will the Salford game .
Sorry replied to wrong post
Seems obvious but…
If you have already purchased your ticket, please phone for a refund.
Great offer, will be there.
I presume prices will stay the same on matchday? Will be a big walk up if the weather is o.k.
Are Gillingham taking the away end for this? They surely won’t bring that many with it being a Tuesday and having a poor season.
@SaddlerHQ Any away support has to include so far down the family stand these days.
Isn’t that so that the away allocation includes seating for disabled supporters? No dedicated provision behind the goal (similar to the Poundland stand), only along that side - so we have to give them that far corner of tbe family stand. Don’t think we have to give them any blocks behind the goal as well, so we could use it for home fans, but if we’re not doing that it’s probably no skin off the club’s nose to let them have at least part of the away end too as they can share the same food kiosks and toilets.
I suppose one solution would be to install accessible seating in the away end (and in the other stands where there isn’t any?) so that they have all options open for any game regardless of how many fans our opponents bring?
@AndyWTaylor Yes. From this season there was a directive that all clubs should provide accommodation for away wheelchair supporters to be sat in the same area as their supporters. There is a long timetable for clubs to make changes for this to happen - I think its 3 or 5 years so for most lower league clubs they have a long time to implement this. With Bescot Stadium having the whole length of the family stand accessible for wheelchairs the decision was made by WFC to introduce this right away. I don’t think there will be any provision to change any other stands in the ground accordingly. But I see your points. So depending on numbers expected it will be away fans in the corner of both stands or the last block or two of the family stand if low take up of away fans.
