The level and quality of our signings will really tell us about Trivela’s ambition.

If we aren’t looking to add at least 3 or 4 quality players then incremental progress will just become endless stagnation. It’s helpful if a couple of punts come off too but you can’t just rely on that.
You never know they may surprise us, I am a bit more positive than when Pom was running the show.
The fact that Stockport wanted to keep him and couldn’t agree terms probably suggests he wouldn’t be in our budgetary constraints, a fine player all the same and I hope it’s a L1 club signing him, not strengthening a L2 rival.
I look forward to a midfield of Sbarra, Jellis and Maher next season.
I read on another forum thetownender I think that he was on 8k a week, don’t know if it’s true but certainly more than two bags of scratchings
Reading between the lines Stockport were paying top dollar in league 2 and some of the more greedy players expected a payrise on going up

And ya know, never played a game as low as our level since, playing in the Championship and League One as well.
Not that I’d sign him, simply because I think if the club philosophy is to “build incrementally” (shivers) we should be looking at players on or just before their peak, but turning your nose up at him is bizarre.
I think they have to inform the EFL of the retained list by tomorrow but they are under no obligation to make it public (can’t see why they wouldn’t) If they didn’t publish it then I believe the EFL make them public sometime early June.

We’ll be in for roughly the same players either way and other people’s lists are more relevent than our own in terms of what we’ll be fielding.
Most players are on holiday anyway

I think it’s been a smart move by Trivela this delay giving us time to prepare for the breakup I’m mentally prepared now .i can handle it .
I’ve got a terrible feeling it’ll make us all even more miserable when we see who’s staying.

Just when I think I’ve seen it all they come up with some baffling decision that almost everyone can see will not come off and we all have to sit there and watch it develop exactly how most of us knew it would.Like if we sign Josh Gordon we all know what’s coming,plenty of running and effort but almost no goals from a striker.I really hope I’m wrong about that as Trivela have done well off the pitch in my opinion.It’s the life of a Walsall Fans mate you’ve witnessed it as I have over the years.
