The Official Summer Transfer Rumour Thread - 2025 edition

The points you made directly :joy: seemed obvious :man_shrugging:

Hopefully!

Blues rejected a 3 million pound bid for him a couple of years ago.

Hall great signing but if we play the same set up as last year it would suggest Hall and Jellis competing for the same slot, perhaps Jellis to Wycombe more likely than Allen
Just a thought

You’re looking for an argument.

I said Hall is a superb player - and I don’t think Sadler’s style suits him - but I’d be happy with the signing. He was part of the bottle job squad for 12 months and played in the Crewe heartache, as well as play off final - so of course he would be affected.

No idea what you’re disagreeing with.

It doesn’t suit the fans either, in fact,it doesn’t even suit Jamma.

:joy: Sure, sure. You’d know

and I said if you use that metric, you are down to very few profiles of players worth signing.

As I said, not really. He was fit for 6 full games and sub appearances at the end of the season, and his record when fit is pretty good. I’m not sure how he can be blamed or “psychologically effected” by that.

I know, I know, you don’t know what I am disagreeing with despite you repeating the same things and me explaining what I disagree with each time. :joy:

Waffle. Grow up.

It’s not, but ok :joy:

No real point signing Hall if we play hoof ball.

If we play hoof ball you need players like McEntee who run up and down the pitch.

If true, I hope this means we revert to 3-5-2 and not persist with 3-4-2-1. We might even put a few passes together.

Makes good sense. Walsall don’t pay to much up front but if he can stay fit and be the player we all think he is, there’s a decent sell on clause for Blues and Walsall benefit too.
Just gotta keep him fit and he’d tear up League Two. It’s a risk but no more than gambling on National league young unproven players .
Leeds were rumoured to be offering £5M when he broke through. All appearances, starts and off the bench, he’s got 40 Championship games under his belt and he’s still only 20. just make sure the football insurance policy is a good one.

Will enjoy his 15 games a season

A 100% fit George Hall would be a stand out player in this league, hopefully he can have a injury free season.

News of the day..we’re either favourites for signings or closing in on signings.

Don’t you just love the summer break from football

Definitely didn’t expect us to be linked with Hall.

An injury free Hall is one of the top players in League 2.

Already been discussed but Walsall will be formally confirming the signing of Stuttle on a season long loan.

Astounded we are going down the loan route for our striker again next season.

Then again, they cost, so maybe I am not.

Today?

Walsall signing a good striker was like me dating a nice looking lass when I was a young man - if they’re that good, they’re rarely permanent!
