Cheers for that, I couldn’t remember what Steve Gritt looked like. Wasn’t he captain that year or was it Peter Skipper? No pun intended!
Seem to remember Skipper being club captain but can also visualise Gritt with the captain’s armband. Any Stato’s out there who can put us straight? Probably got the answer in an old programme in the loft but can’t be bothered to climb the loft ladder to find out😅

Peter Skipper later ran a pub about 10 minutes walk from me for many years.
