Daniels out for two to three months

Essentially done for the season then, could tell it was more significant than a knock at the time.

Sad news for him and us. Best wishes DD .

Too many long term injuries for my liking. OK so Daniels is back-up only, and we can get by, but the squad isn’t large by any means. Are we just unlucky, or are too many of our players injury prone?

If we do get promoted this season no one can say that we haven’t had our share of injuries.

Earing, Farquarson, Hall and DD all pretty much done for this season (if and when they get ‘match sharp’).
I know we are doing outstandingly well, but we need reinforcements.

I hope that we can keep the unbeaten run going, but I would have expected one or two reinforcements signed by now.

I know we all want this unbeaten run to go on and on,

…And we know it can’t possibly …but if they’re are any teams you don’t want the run to come to an end to, then this is one of them.

… With their fan base harping on and on about what a BIG club they are, and they shouldn’t be in this league … yes you should because you’re pretty crap, and now you’ve lost Cook I think (hope) you’ll struggle even more.

PS
Probably not the best thread to put this on … but you all know what I mean  :joy:
PPS
Probably the Bradford one would of be better … :joy: :joy: Apologies

I think this is the last we see of Daniels, The Priest and Earing at Walsall come the end of season.

Pretty lucky really as that’s the main way Saddler improves us. Apparently

Who’ve all barely featured in the first half of the season. A couple of decent loans and we’ll be fine. :sunglasses:

I can’t see Sadlers neck lasting the season .He will be next

Can possibly see DD being kept on possibly with a view to a future coaching role.
Unfortunately Priestley and Jack although undoubtedly being very good at our level are just too injury prone and it always seems like lengthy injuries which while it obviously takes a toll on the players ongoing fitness is also a nightmare for the management to plan for the season.

I imagine Matt and adomah may be the ones
To stay on as player coaches more than dd myself x

Yes I agree , I suppose a lot depends on what players want to do in the future, I believe Matt is already involved in some sort of business.
I think Adoma will be financially secure following the career and clubs he’s played for so maybe in a better position to enter the precarious world of football coaching.
