As weāre talking about summer rumours, I thought Iād start a new thread but the UTS PSO @Exile decided to close so I guess we carry on in the winter thread.
Liam Bennett looks to be out of contract in the summer and his side Cambridge look to be being relegated.

Serious note, their forum seems to suggest he hasnāt performed as they expected, been below how he was was when on loan there from Hull
Also - both sick notes! Id rather a lower std of player thats actually available.
Do we need Bennett. Think Iād rather go in for Asimwe again and also have Barrett.

Asiimwe would be a good pick up I think.
Can play both sides comfortably. Something a bit different to your usual wing back, also.
Has played in League One also. (no Iām not assuming anything)

Would Charlton sell Asiimwe? Think they rate him highly and have him under contract until 2026 with an option for a further year.
I suspect weāll see Barrett as first choice with Elicha Ahui as the back up. Iād love Bennett back though.

Asimwe, Chang and Hall would be fantastic signings - but would they come if weāre in league two next season? Asimwe should be the top target really as with him, Conner and Liam we have 3 good wing backs with Asimwe able to cover both flanks.

The thing I didnāt get about that signing is we havenāt blooded him in League Two. If the optimist in me says we still get promoted would he be ready for League One? He was given an 18 month contract wasnāt he, 6 of which will have been used up back at Drogheda.
Heās first choice there, been injured but heās back now.

Also heard the sports nutritionist was casually chatting shell-fish recipes with the fans, apparently he thinks steamed, with white wine and garlic is a good clam idea.
Would he want to stay, presumably on less money, when heās going to be peripheral in Sadlerās plans?
