There are other effective strikers aside from Draper. Heās only getting mentioned because he played for us last year.
I doubt he would be able to hit the ground running (unfit and out of form and confidence). I genuinely think it would be a mistake.

Draper looks short of confidence at the moment according to Lincoln fans missed 2 decent chances today think itās probably in everyoneās best interests if we could get him back here and enjoying his football again.

What I take from the situation with Freddie at Lincoln is we were getting the best out of him, something they seem unable to do.
It doesnāt take long for fans to turn on one of their own if things arenāt working out how it was expected to.
Sometimes itās very easy to forget that thereās a young man at the end of the bile, a young man who might be affected by comments made or the pressure of expectations.
I would love to see him back with us because with the man management style of Mat Sadler Iām sure we would soon see the confidence return.

Does Draper play ahead of Matt at the moment, no. But what an opportunity to learn, let Matt take him under his wing and pass the mantle on when the legs really go and he decides to call it a day to a ready made replacement. Great succession planning.

The good thing is he knows Sadlerās system after playing it for six months and the team is now far superior all over the pitch to what he played in. He didnāt have Barrettās crossing last year for example.
I liken it to Dean Smith liking to get old players in whoād previously come here on loan. They already have a taste of the culture and so should settle in much quicker.
Draper ticks so many boxes for me and it would also show Trivela are serious about building something long term to compete in league one.
Also heard about Preston showing an interest in Jellis. Donāt think heās ready for the championship but that would be something for him to consider if they come in now or in the summer once theyāve released some midfielders.

One name thatās just come to my mind, Tom Bradshawā¦
Scored 17 in 41 for Millwall in championship as recently as 22/23 but started to be phased out of their team last year and only played ten games this year.
It would only be one division drop in the summer back at the club where he really got his career going.
With DJ going and Matt probably being phased out for Draper or another signing of that type it would be incredibly exciting to get a Bradshaw type as the experienced striker, Super Tom will be 33 in July so would fit that profile.
Might want to return to the Midlands to end his career. I assume heās OOC this summer so worth asking the question I think.

10 goals in 22 games says otherwise only Lowe can better that in recent years DJ played 30 games when he got 15 for us so his ratio is very similar is DJ shit as well then?
Like I said the lad is short on confidence and probably needs a move to kick-start his career again Iād more than welcome him back.

The one position where our recruitment has failed miserably this season is Troll. We have a L1 side with a midland conference Troll. Trivela must address this urgently and do everything they can to attract someone of much better quality in this area.
