One advantage we have over Lincoln and most other sides at the moment is that any player joining us now has a good chance of getting some honours.
That has to be a good persuasive tool for Walsall to use to our advantage.

And only last week people was creaming themselves about spending 250k plus on 1 player and now itās a loan from forest. ā but we have new owners nowā was the cry. No wonder the club mug our fans off

I think everyoneās seen the goal scoring exploits by DJ, Draper or Lowe. So there may be players who are interested in joining. But there is a catch. Donāt upset the dressing room. Targets have probably been identified, negotiations can be ongoing. Does it take time? Of course it does. Trivela looked as if they didnāt want to get mugged.

We are past that now, still no progress.
I rate 90% of what Trivella are doing but really doubt how geared they are for 3 clubs at a busy pinch point like this. They were class in the summer.
People refer to previous January disasters. But now we are meant to have some football guidance and intelligence.

MK Dons did some business early, bought a player from the league above and a player widely consider to be the best in League Two, both started on Saturday. Funny how things turn out isnāt it

Giving your self the best chance while you are ahead is lost on some people.
Typical small minded mentality of our fanbase by not seeing we can be better we can increase our chances. Same fans no doubt went quiet during the good times Bonser gave us but then moan when it unravels.
So expecting better sharper more prompt recruitment is considered such a bad thing.
