I reckon youād need 20 people at least putting Ā£100 each to cover the cost, it all depends on how many it will accommodate I suppose. It would be a good way to have a UTS get together though, Iād be up for itā¦
Me too
Thatās a good idea, perhaps you could email the club with this suggestion, anything to help.
Just because heās moved to a bigger football club doesnāt mean that he got promoted. He was a Director of Walsall Football Club and is nothing more than a paper clip pusher at Villa. Thereās not a single Villa fan that knows his name or of him.
We have seen more action on how things should be done by Trivela in 2 years than Mole managed in 15. The bloke was totally incompetent and out of his depth, although he should never have been in the role in the first place.
Like the majority can clearly understand this letter signifies why we should all be very thankful that Ben Sadler is at our club and Mole is pen pushing in a role much more suited to his āskillsetā
I donāt you can blame supporters. Going into the first home game on 10th August, out only two for strikers were James and Flash, the former who canāt play 90 minutes on a regular basis, and the latter with a scoring record of 1 in 23 last season! Add to that, not replacing our main creative outlet and you can see why there was a sense of it all being a bit underwhelming. Iām glad weāve started well, and I really hope that we have a good season, but donāt blame the fans after weāve been pretty shit on and off the pitch for the best part of 7 seasons!
Jamma and Flash!!
ā¦I think you find that itās a massive promotion, unless heās a program seller.
If he was a footballer transferring from Walsall to Villa it would be a huge promotion
If he was a Director of Walsall transferring to become a Director of Villa it would be a huge promotion
As it is, it wasnt a huge promotion at all. It was the opposite. Cant put it any simpler really so weāll leave it there
Ok, is he getting paid the same at Villa as he was at Walsall? NO HEāS NOT!!!
Thatās not a promotion just a better paid job, but if you can get a better paid job with less responsibility thatās a good move most the time, though sometime the opposite can be true if it then opens up other opportunities for you.
Stabling might be an issue.
Do you know that or are you assuming it? The way I interpreted it he was āmanaged outā, and in those circumstances he may have accepted less to avoid the ongoing ignominy of performance management.
Heās certainly gone from big fish/small pond to small fish/big pond. Thereās usually a trade off thereā¦
Obviously Iām assuming it, Iām assuming that the pay scales at a rich premier League club are way above a small (in comparison) league 2 club. I think that is a good assumption.
Yeah. The relative pay scales for small club CEO and big club marketing department may coincide at one levelā¦
Should there be a thread āFormer Administrators - where are they now?ā
@simon hasnāt left has he?
