First half was ok, but they look dangerous and create too much to feel too safe. MS’s tactical chess can be puzzling at times.

Pressley is the player that Sadler hopes Matt will be - proper target man, holds the ball up, brings others into play etc. Unfortunately time seems to have caught up with Jamma and he just can’t seem to deliver the performances he was last season before he got injured.

Good half. Bit worried about Harper defensively, especially since he’s on a yellow.
Kanu would be perfect for some of these long balls and flick ons that have fell to Adomah.

Good first half. Need a second goal otherwise it could be a frustrating 1-1 as they’ve had a few chances on the break.
Would get Kanu on at the hour mark as they’ll be space for him to run into.

Good start but lost our way a bit.
Albert and Pressley were blowing hard at the end there. I’d like to see Kanu come on for Albert.
Vinny looks good going forward but leaves too much space. Yellow card too. Bit concerned there.
Decent enough half…. Should be more. Hopefully we see Kanu come on in the second half

Odd thing to say for someone with his experience, but it’s like he’s trying too hard at times.
Best half so far. At them from the off. I hope we don’t go into our shell second half but I can feel a nervy one coming on. One more goal kills this game.
He doesn’t look a full back/ wing back. An effective winger all day though.

I would have liked to have seen the chance that Adomah had, fall to Kanu. I think his pace would have taken him away from the defender, leading to an easier effort on goal.

Adomah is like playing with 10 men.

But it’s pretty poor in terms of is ever creating a chance in open play.
Thank god for the brilliant save by Roberts cos you’d never trust this lot to turn a game round.
Warrington looks poor, Albert never a CF and Jellis off it albeit fine delivery for the goal.
After we scored we predictably sat back.
Hope to see Kanu second half because with a decent partner Pressley would create so much. He’s got these centre halves but little point with Adomah as a partner.
Let’s hope we seek a second rather than sit on the one we have!

Harper doesn’t look great defensively although that Salford attack looks decent and like they will cause problems for most teams.
Looking forward to seeing Kanu second half, having him come on against a tiring defence will hopefully open them up a bit.

Decent 1st half from the lads, they tries a couple of things that didn’t quite come off - if they had the score would not have been just 1-0.
There’s Albert running around like a teenager teaching the youngsters how to do it, he’s not a striker but a brilliant example of work ethic for the rest of the team.
Keep the momentum in the 2nd half and we should win the game.
