Precisely. a 3/5/2 means the wing backs provide the width, and the other 3 being say Kinsella/Earing/Tomlin (for me) looks like a well-balanced midfield. If Labadie comes in it has to be for Kinsella to drop out, likewise if Oss plays in the middle it should be at the expense of Tomlin or even Earing.
I’d leave Labadie on the bench. He’s shown a bit more restraint recently but Kins can do that job better and with less chance of being sent off. Os has improved too but Earing offers more over the 90 mins for me, and as a more intelligent footballer than Os he is more likely to tune into Tomlins wavelength.
I agree. My point was that, if it is 352, I do not think Flynn will chose Tomlin over Earing, Labadie or Kinsella. Like others, I would leave Labadie out of that threesome but I do not think Flynn will.
Barring injuries, I think he will play
Rushforth
White, Daniels Monthe
Osadebe and Shade as WBs
Labadie Earing Kinsella
Miller Wilkinson
Personally, I would lay Tomlin instead of Labadie and possibly Rodney instead of Miller to allow him to impress if he can. A lot depends on what Flynn sees as Miller’s future. If he is going back to Barnsley then play Rodney. If he wants to keep him, then it is less clear cut.
Interesting additional food option at the match tomorrow…
Home and away Swindon have looked the best side in the league for me.
Yes, No, Yes, No
3-5-2
Same as against Hartlepool.
Whenever safety is secure, then Rose and Rodney take priority.
First, it doesn’t matter, there are probably some agreements between clubs. Second, no. Probably he looks better against a tired opponent. At least now, when he is not fully fit. Third, no opinion. I don’t know what was said between MF and him. Fourth, no. Still time to fully incorporate him into the squad.
And game, well. They are fighting for an automatic spot, so probably see it as easy three points for them. But because it looks like an extended pre-season for us, anything can happen. Only no injuries, please.
Michal. nothing to do with football but admire what your people and your country are doing for Ukraine and her refugees.
So very sad.
Thank You. We, as a Poland, are hit very hard by this war, but I really hope that enthusiasm will not fade.
Four years ago today we sacked Jon Whitney and this time last year we lost to Barrow in what was probably the worst I’ve seen a Walsall team in my years of watching, probably made it worse watching on ifollow. Looking forward to a better day today UTS
I’m going today and - whisper it- I’m quite looking forward to it.
I’m not used to optimism………
We’ve had some real shite fixtures lately, every club baring Barrow have been in good form!
Still fancy us 3-1.
2-1 Wilkinson and Tomlin with the goals.
No Rugeley trains back after the match, 1704 and 1727 both cancelled. First train (currently) at 1804.
Are we on follow of the I?
Not officially…
Blues the only other local game this afternoon, so there’s a fair chance our game is on WM
No Tomlin, he lasted well
Is Tomlin crocked already?
Maybe he’s taking White’s place on the naughty step?
