Same old issue of not being able to control a game. Everything 100 mph. Granted that’s how we get our goals but we can’t take the sting out of a game.
They are gash though Scoob.
Even so, we still only managed 28% possession in that half.

Glad to be winning - of course.
But that goal we conceded was woeful. All we had to do was be semi-professional for an hour and this should have been comfortable against a very limited side.
I thought our two goals were class and there’s been some good stuff in amongst the usual fourth division guff.
Burke and Jellis (again) look a long way off it.
If we follow the Walsall script in this one (nearly doing something quite good and bottling it) then there’s serious questions need asking.
All about mentality this next half. We’re the better side man for man and should exude that and make it count. What we shouldn’t do is try to shithouse and nurdle the minutes away with the gap between attack and midfield becoming a chasm. I don’t trust us not to be told to do just that though.

It took a while longer but did eventually open up again - leaving me just enough time ti make it (without speeding I might add!) and got in just as they were lining up.
PS My thoughts are with whoever was unlucky enough to be the cause of the hold-up - it was obviously a bad accident.
