He signed a 4 year contract about a month ago, he’s very highly rated. If he’s leaving Lincoln he’s moving up, not down a division.

They also now only play with one striker hence why Draper is allowed out on loan. Not sure they think he is ready for the loan striker role yet
To stand any chance of getting the likes of Liam Bennett, Freddie Draper and any other young player we get on loan that does extremely well is that we have to get promoted to continue their upward career path.
No player like Rushworth last summer, Bennett this summer and Draper next summer who have the chance of playing regular League 1 football will join us permanently as a team that finishes below mid table in League 2.

That is true but I remember many years ago at Fellows Park we walloped Bristol Rovers 5 something but the ref had a stinker. I think he was really surprised when he was booed off and worse when he left the pitch.
Didn’t you say you would be surprised If he played Foulkes also .

But I did say I thought we’d all end up thinking Foulkes was better than Bennet as he had more to his game.
I also said DJ Evans Hutch Gordon were all rested midweek and had no chance of not playing v Stockport.

Yea I didn’t think they would…but granted, I missed that I’d posted that…I just remembered being more adamant that Draper wouldn’t.
As I said I thought Foulkes was far more impressive so was less surprised, if at all….I said I’d be surprised if he did rather than “no chance that he would”
But seeing as trawling through my every thought is now a pastime we should pick up everything or just the things I didn’t think would happen but did…it seemed everyone thought Tierney would play but I was right on that one….50/50

Not sure there’s any need for an argument.
I said there was no chance Draper starts v Stockport and was wrong and admitted as much.
I said I’d be surprised if Foulkes started v Stockport and I was!
I also said Oteh would start v Morecambe and he did and I said I’d be surprised if Tierney started v Stockport and he didn’t….
Offering opinions was what I thought we did here…oh well

As I said…I was certain Draper wouldn’t play…I thought Foulkes was excellent midweek but I didn’t THINK he’d play, I said I’d be surprised if he did….and I was!!
No idea why that’s such a big deal, I offered my thoughts on Saturdays team….I was wrong about one, correct on another and surprised by another…
