It’s the start of a new season or perhaps that should be a new chapter.
I’m looking forward to seeing old friends and being in the ground amongst like minded people.
I don’t know what the outcome is going to be but I’ll do my bit and see where it takes me.

Morning, I’ve stayed off here because my disappointment with last season would have been manifest in any posts I made. And I didn’t want to bring the optimists down or worse be told how to feel - “get over it - move on” type thing.
Anyway - here we are. Too soon for me but I’ll be there. As ever willing those red bastards to victory and I hope by 5 o’clock there’s a bit of the old tingle back in my belly.
No prediction from me, cos I have no clue (some things don’t change!!). I see some players have left and some have joined. I hope the latter gang are better than the former and I hope that unlike me, the team have exorcised last season’s humongous bottle job.

My first game back with my (now very) old man accompanying me since my mom passed away in June 24.
The sun is shining, highest home attendance in 21 years, a decent squad.
Let’s hope I’m still feeling so positive come 5pm but Walsall FC is more than just the football.
I actually fancy a score draw here. 1-1

I think Clarke is in 18. I think his midfield role option is part of our plan B

Expecting a big atmosphere. A real baptism of fire for our inexperienced boys. The experienced lads will need to help them find their feet.

Definitely looks like can’t be arsed after being sold a pup by Ernesto last season .
Striking options off the bench looks very weak.
Come on lads - feel quite tentative about it now it’s here. Hope we can banish some of the cobwebs with a good win.
